Our salute to capitalism and family tradition went up yesterday, first Fire in the fireplace while decorating and watching football. i mostly supervised as decorating isn't the easiest with a broken shoulder but it looks good. Covered in ornaments from both mine and wife childhood as well as memories of the many countries, states, national parks, and just tons of good times.
we have tried the live tree thing and were not fans, the memory of going and cutting it down with he kiddo are great but the memory of finding pine needles 3-4 years later was not.
yup... even Agnostics and Atheists can celebrate Xmas...
