im just curious as to anyone's experience with these, I dont like the fuller bodied ones and wanted to know which of them are more on the milder side. I do think that most isoms are not as strong as some of their Dominican counterparts.

The cigar on the left is made for the King of Spain (or at least the band is). I'd be surprised if your friend would just send you such a rare cigar. But hey, anything is possible.

I've got a one of the Che's and five of the ED's. I've not tried either of them. I've heard they are some great smokes (full bodied and strong). I can't even see the one in the middle. The Cohiba is pretty widely available.

Just one question; why is someone sending these to you if you don't have more experience with these kinds of cigars? Sounds suspicious to me.

It's what the rich and famous do. Obviously, you do not understand. :-)

I've only heard of Cohiba, but my knowledge of cuban cigars is pretty much nil, just a little less than non-cuban cigars. LOL Like Buckwheat mentioned, I can't even make out the middle one with the shiney band.

Those are nice looking smokes...the one on the left, I have heard about, but never seen one before....probably worth a lot of bucks...see buckwheats comments.

Why cant a friend send another friend an expensive cigar? By the way, the one in the middle is a limited edition Partagas.

Why don't you just ask the guy that sent them to you what they are like?

I did, but I also wanted to know some of your opinions as well because everyone's palate is different. What for him might be mild, for me might be full.

Yeah, but when you know the cigars are pretty rare and few if anyone has even heard of them let alone smoked one posting a "let me know what they are like thread" comes across as just being a bit of a wanker.

The only folks on this board that I would bet on knowing the history of each of these sticks would be Buckwheat and DocRKS......

Buck, I have a feeling that you along with some others will find something wrong with every post I make just because you have no life. I got some cigars, dont know much about them, posted them to see if anyone here had some experience with them since I know people here smoke cigars once in a while. Why does it have to come to more than that? Why do I have to be called a wanker?

^You couldn't be more wrong, Beyder.

I happen to know that Buckwheat is one of the most knowledgeable brothers alive when it comes to Cuban cigars. Including vintage Cuban cigars.

In fact, I have firsthand knowledge of this because he GAVE me a Dunhill Cabinetta and a Davidoff (I forget which vitola) from the 1980's.

I appreciate the non negative comment. The next time I get another 5er from him, I will send you some. He sells them around the world, he has the rarest of the rare and for a very good price. Im no expert on Cubans but those who know the different types, appreciate them a lot. Email me at [email protected] and I will give you his info if you'd like to get some from him.

Those cigars look excellent.........I have a bad habit of stashing my "ultra-rare" smokes instead of smoking them......I ought to just "do it".

Andy... i know what you mean... i do a fairly good job at burning them, but there are a few that i haven't been able to find the right time to smoke them...like... a 10+ year old punch punch from Ferg.

I have a 10 year old Upmann Monarcas gifted to me by DocRKS, but it will be smoked, since he said to smoke the damn thing...

Beyder, you are so wrong about Buckwheat.....to begin with he can probably buy and sell half the folks on this board, and he is a nice guy who does not flash his money around.....he is the most knowledgeable Cuban cigar man I have met...have not met DocRKS in person yet..........

So Beyder, quit being so f--kin paranoid and enjoy the board and the teaasing and kidding that goes on.

Thanks Brooks and the others who actually went back to talking about cigars instead of my sister. The only reason I was firing back is because its a sensitive subject. She just recently got run over by a tractor. To add insult to injury, I buried her not knowing she was still alive. Hope you guys understand.

Beyder, by your standards I probably don’t have a life. I spend most nights at home with the wife and kids. I’m probably twice as old as you and my life is definitely different from your life. You’re young. Have fun. I hope you have all that you deserve in life. Did I mean what I said? Yep. You have definitely acted like a wanker. I hope that when you get a little older you learn the difference between acting like and being a wanker.

Run over by a tractor and buried alive.

Does that mean you won't be posting any more pictures of her?

Buck, you also have to understand something...its very hard for everyone to understand things the way you mean them when its all being typed up in a forum. To judge people by what they post on cigarbid is a bit lame. If you look back at some of my posts and compare them to some of the others, its all the same crap but some people take certain things more offensively which, if your gonna make fun of someone you should be prepared to be made fun of as well. By the way, I may be young but I have achieved a lot in my young life, I have a bachelors degree from a top University via athletic scholorship, have many patents in a few different fields, part owner in a real estate development company, and own a mortgage bank which has over 100 employees and I have a partner who is in his mid 50's. I understand things much better than you think.

If you were to talk to any of the people that personally know me, weather its friends, acquaintances or employees, not one would have anything negative to say about me. On here, I guess its all about how people chose to interpret things and not actually the way it is meant to be interpreted.

#37 "and own a mortgage bank which has over 100 employees and I have a partner who is in his mid 50's. I understand things much better than you think." Yup, if there's one foolproof business in this country, it's mortgages.

Oh.
