Way to go, Lefty, especially with frozen taste buds. Hope it doesn't snow too much up there.

I have a week before it has to be out.
really the only reason I do these passes is to take all the smokes and play with them and fill my humi up and pretend they're mind. I called a few people over tonight to look at the new cc collection!
Tomorrow ima play Lincoln logs with them.

Alright, here goes my very first review of a cigar:

PRELIGHT: fresh smell, very light, mown grass maybe. Chocolate appearance, firm with slight give-- could see the progression of the wrapper around the stick, pigtail cap (that came off nicely with the cut. Covered foot...
BURN: perfect. held it's ash nicely through the first inch or more, burned straight and true even after a re-light due to having to walk the dog.. Ash is light whitish gray, with dark lines in between puffs.
FLAVOR: at first, sweet, with a slight pepper finish in the retrohale.. Not the chocolate I was anticiapting. Through out the body of this cigar, leather, mocha, cream with some light hay/grass finish.
OVERALL: A light to medium smoke that I enjoyed. Medium bodied cigar that I would smoke again, and again. Tried very hard not to heat this baby up. I smoke fast and probably ruin lots of cigars. Was conscious not to do that here. Would like more on the drag.
PAIRING: Captain Morgan, Diet followed by Jameson, ginger ale drinks. Mixed strong.
TOTAL: Prelight, 10. Burn, 10. Flavor, 8. Overall 7. WOULD SMOKE AGAIN.
NAME OF CIGAR: Man O' War Little Devil -- did I cheat? Yes. Had the list and looked em up. Picture matches. But, I read a review from Puff and I believe it matches. This had the leather I love and the size was perfect. This is easily a 7/10 cigar.

My first attempt at really "tasting" a cigar. Never seems to be enough time and there's always a wife with something else I should be doing.

Kombat, THANK YOU!--- This was a very nice cigar and should be enjoyed with company and booze. Drunk posting as I type. Something to to savor -- not a golf stick by any means. Too light for that. Makes me wanna slow down when smoking. I usually make 'em too hot, I'm sure.

Man O' War Little Devil - pefectly named. This little devil was a fine smoke!

Thanks guys. I really do struggle with "tasting" cigars and flavors within. They have different smoke and such but "flavors" are hard for me. This was a TON of fun. I matched up pictures, but the words are mine. I laughed that I had some similar lines to the review I read when I was done putting this on Kombat's form. Didn't think I had it in me. And, for the way the booze snuck up on me last night, I'm surprised as the low number to typos in there. LOL! Have a great day all!

Jon was that your first time smokin that cigar? I tend to like smaller ring guages these days. AJ's seem to better than most in the smaller vitola. I am still trying to discern diff. flavors as well, makes this fun.............

^^ Yes, never had that one before. I really liked the size -- it's funny because a couple of my favorite cigars are the Perdomo 10th Anny Champagne and Alec Bradley Black Market and both of those are at least 52 ring. Champagne may even be 54...But the 44's are a great size. Fuente 858's I think are 44 ring.
