What is the strongest cigar you ever smoked. You know, the kind that makes your stomach queasy, your head light. and your vision blurry? I smoked a cheap Oliva a few years back that did that to me. I was driving at the time and had tp pull over and open the windows for about 15 minutes to clear my head. If they had made that stick just a tad stronger they could have used it for anesthesia or euthenasia. Sarcasm

I don't typically get queazy or light headed (any more than usual...) ;-)

But the Camacho Coyolar Puro Titan is a strong cigar.

Nub Maduro hits hard. Flavorful, but you've got to take it slow.

One that surprised me was Room 101 Namakubi Papi Chulo. It may be small, but it can kick some azz.

Back in 1994 I went on a trip to Estopa Mexico with my wife and smoked pre-blend changed (i.e. pre-2000) PSD4's after breakfast each morning. They just about made me hallucinate. Strongest and one of the best cigars I've ever smoked and one of the few cigars that my wife said that she actually liked how it smelled.

i had a triple maddie last night... I don't find them as heavy as some of those other cigars. Even the shpo owned commented on how strong they are.

I almost never get any buzz at all off of a cigar, so from that standpoint, none. But still think LFD double ligero's are some of the stongest I've smoked.

Had a Cohiba Esplendido that was nicely aged. Smoked it sitting down with a beer or two. Knees shook like crazy when I stood up. Powerful but wonderfully tasty.

Cain F robusto.

I've got a 1" pork chop, heaping pile of red beans n rice, and two glasses of beer in my belly and its still making its strength known in a big way.

Eta: its a tasty stick to boot. First time I've ever been forced to slow down by the cigar.

My first actual cigar i smoked 3 months ago. Trader Jacks rum infused holy crap. Doesn't help that im a Type 1 Diabetic thought i was gonna pass out. Had to lay down for about 40 minutes and try not to vomit any more. Since then i've been smoking a lot of full bodied cigars. The last cigar that made me feel that way was a RyJ Reserve Real Toro just a week ago once again.

Fausto
T-110
some I don't remember

I've felt dizzy and light-headed a couple of times, actually threw up once. Smoked a Serie V and then a Fausto, I'm assuming it's a combo of them both being strong but wasn't fun. Tobacco "highs" are not fun.

I had read that advice, did not take that advice, and sure didn't listen to myself when my legs got weak with about 2 inches left. I nubbed the JDN Antano 1970 Gran Perfecto Dark Natural and it snubbed me. Within an hour I fell asleep midday and didn't wake up for a couple hours. That thing needs to be banded with the warning to eat first.

I found Punch cigars to be aptly named. The Papi Chulo and Padron 64 are also pretty strong, but so very good I didn't really notice I got a li'l buzzy til the end.

I see one on this list that Busa sent me a while back - Skull & Bones. That one is going to burn soon. Thanks buddy!

Opus are strong too.

LFD Cabinet 500 Ligero....5.5X60 these have more than beat me up pretty good. I mean, I have to lay it down for awhile before I can function again. But I love them! So tasty....*drool* hurts though. I had a double ligero and I traded it. didn't want to go through the punishment.

Pinar Del Rio Exclusivo limitadada.. POWERful stick.....gives a quick kick to the stomach with a lasting impression.

Interesting conversation. I have a friend that gets a buzz from some cigars, but I have never experienced anything like it, despite having smoked a few cigars mentioned here. Those cigars which I have considered strong were considered so because of taste, while those mentioned here, like ligero LFD's were enjoyable and not overpowering in taste. Prior to smoking an LFD, I though anything full bodied would taste too strong and since that time I have no qualms about smoking full bodied smokes. PDR exclusivos also have no effect on me- tho some PDR's do affect one of my smoking buddies.

Infused cigars can make anyone sick. I say drink the rum and smoke cigars. Smoking rum and drinking cigars just isn't right. I'm type 2 which doesn't even compare to type 1 but I still feel for you. Smoke and drink in good health. fog

The buzz is from nic levels as you already know and it effects everyone differently, I can drink a cup of coffee and go to sleep most people can't.

Your level of inhale/retrohale will play a big factor.

Well, I don't retro or inhale, so that may be why I don't get buzzed.

You're doing it wrong. If you're not retrohaling, you aren't getting the nuances and profiles of the cigars. May as well just smoke $2 rockets.
