Word on the street is newer orders are shipping first, also new CI orders are shipping first as well.

I have to laugh at CigarBids shipping. Ever heard of "smokingipipes.com"? They make "Pipesandcigars" look sick. Pipesandcigars is always out of product and they never notify you when they get it back in stock even if you do sign up for E-mail alerts for the item.
If you have time to sit on here and run your mouth....then you have time to answer customer service complaints and questions. For example....Where is my order from 6/3/2014 that STILL isn't shipped? Get with it or get out of it.

I don't work in the warehouse smokeslot1. If I did, I wouldn't be here chatting with you. My job is Customer Service. I thought I was addressing Customer complaints...Both here and in emails. There is also an entire team of people trying to keep up with the calls and emails.

All I can do is apologize and try to explain why things are happening the way they are. I'm very sorry if that's not enough but its all I can do.

I went out to the warehouse to find out about this. Yes, one day went ahead of another. But that was because of something funky happening with the picks. We're getting the oldest orders out first at this point.

All I can do is shake my head just before I bang it on my desk. Brick wall

There are many discussions going on based on a lot of info in this thread. I'm hoping those discussions result in good things going forward. After 13 years pushing the same rock up the mountain, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this time it stays up there.

I've always had a philosophy when dealing with people under certain situations.

For instance, one should always be polite with the servers in the restaurant. This is for altruistic reasons, but also due to the significant power imbalance which exists in the service industry. Until you receive your food, they have a lot of control over what goes into it, or what can happen to it, while you have no visibility to these actions.

I would personally take a similar view when considering my order of cigars hasn't left their hands yet. While I'm sure Trish is the consummate professional... it's got to be tempting to pay warehouse $5 to look the other way while dredging some of the customer's orders through a kitty litter box prior to shipping.

But hey. What do I know.. I usually just piss people off.

I ordered a box of my father's once; they sent me 5 ghurkhas and a dead gopher in a Chinese takeout container. It was also 3 weeks late, AND they blamed it on UPS

When I delivered pizza and someone would call to complain about their pizza I would return, tie up everyone in the house and allow them to eat their complaint worthy pizza. These same services can be ushered in for the right price/perks Trish. LOL!! See now you can PM me and everyone will think I was j/k. ROTFL.

One time I ordered a bundle of Ron Mexico and they sent me a ham sandwich that was encased in 42 air pillows. Completely intact!

Reminds me of when I ordered about 20 different Padrons and they sent me Patrons. I sent them back and they sent me Gurkhas. I sent those back and they sent me VS. Finally I sent them back and got a shipment from Cuba with the name Pro on it. It was a crate of cc. I won

There was also the time I received a package and didn't even order anything. Inside was a fishbowl covered in saran wrap. On the side was duct tape that had "Joe's Jambalaya" written on it. Nice thought, I didn't trust it enough to eat it though.

Simple solution my friend. Just cancel all your orders like I just did....get customer service to issue you a refund like I just did....and buy your cigars somewhere else. Works for me. Herfing

When I saw it I too thought it would be a lock or the dreaded Kaboom. ( I need to try to get KABOOM added to the list now).

Well...IBTL.

Truth be told, I just realized that my order is a little behind schedule. Could be worse I suppose. Could be like the old days...having a package shipped to the APO address it would go to first....then put on a boat or plane across the Atlantic....then moved onto a plane in Germany....then put on another plane in Kuwait....then flown into country....many of y'all on here have experienced this as well I assume.

How much are those ham sandwiches ?

I broke down and ordered some humidification packs for vacation trips and of course I had to pick up a few cigars too. My order closed for Thursday shipment and I needed them for the Friday the week following for this trip I'm now on. Usually I get my shipments the next day (Friday) but that has been moving a couple of days later lately. Fortunately they showed up on the following Thursday or Friday so I could use those humipacks- which seem to be working fine in the Herf a dors. Now I'm back on the wagon - no bids for 8 days (was 54 days before that last order).

I was drinking a little bit last night, and enjoyed myself so much I forgot about the caos here. So what does a slightly drunk cigar smoker do. Win a bid on a box of 20 d'oh! . Just recieved an e-mail stating there would be 4-6 day delay in my order. I have no one to blame, but myself. I think we need an c-bid addiction support group. I am going cold turkey for a while Brick wall Regards Herfing

Where I used to work we had a bunch of cigar smokers. Right next to the fire alarm pull box, they had mounted a wood frame holding a H. Upmann Corona Cristal in the glass tube with a sign reading " break glass in case of emergency." Sounds like you could use that right about now.

I noted on another thread on this subject that C-Bid states on shipping that it will be two to three days after order is processed that it will be shipped. As I used to receive orders in 1-2 days, that's bound to slow things up.

That's be cool-but alas, someone told me that there's more than one J. Cruz. I'd like to catch up with him...maybe next time I'm out looking for CROS, I'll cast a wider net for Jose, too..

First buy from here in over two years. (Humidor for the office). Shipped on Tuesday as it was supposed to and it showed up one day later.

Looks like everything is back on track.

I didn't get any cigars either!!! SUNZABITCHES!!!!!

(As A charter Platinum member, I do not feel I should have to "order" cigars like the other Proles. They should just be sent.)

Oooops....Was I a bad boy? Sorry! But when my orders don't get shipped after 12 days and then I ask for a refund and it takes another 10 days to get that.....I get a real poor attitude about this place.

The King seems to do quite well at CBID and I haven't bought anything from competitor sites in a couple of years. Having been around a while on all the auction sites, I think I have learned where to buy (despite a few backorders and occasional slow seasonal shipping).
