Does anyone else like these? I think they're very good for a $3 cigar. For $1.50 a stick( or less), I've bought a Ton of them in the last few months, and got 75 minutes out of a 5x56 today. I think they're as good as at least 50% of AJ Fernandez's selections.

I don't know why you'd compare them to AJ Fernandez, but the few La Libertad I've smoked were decent cigars.

I would not make that comparison. You are confusing quality with style. But I think it is a great value priced cigar. It is one of my go to yard gars. I think it is significantly better than most yard gars. Try a smaller ring gauge. Since there will be more wrapper relative to the amount of filler you will get a more flavourful smoke. Just my 2 cents.

I think I have 1 of these buried somewhere. Did they give them out at cigar fest 2013 if so then I do.

Thank-you for your advice and opinion, I really appreciate it. I have only been smoking cigars since 1/2013, mainly to help me quit cigarettes. With the purchase of 12 humidors, 2 coolerdors, and at least 1700 sticks, of which 90% were bought on cbid, I've not smoked a cig since 2/2013.

I've burned 150 AJ Fernandez cigars, and have at least 200 resting now. IMHO they are very good cigars linewide. However I would trade you 20 Diesel Unholy Cocktails, or 20 MOW Ruinations ( I have them) for 20 Libertad Gran Robustos.

Just picked up the latest David Morrell thriller at the library and found a la libertad gran robusto in my humi.
Pre-smoke aroma is light. Perfect wrapper with consistent color and nary a vein.
Flavor is as I remembered.
Medium body with hints of spice (I want to say nutmeg. Not because it tastes like nutmeg, but the spice level is the same).
My only complaints (also consistent from how I remember these):
1. flavor profile does not evolve. For better or worse, I like to when the tastes and/or body changes complexity through the smoke.
2. Like a poorly written song, the ending "just happens". No forethought. It just ends without a crescendo.

These are decent sticks for the dough.
As CBid and the mothership unload their stock of boxes, however, I'd be concerned that the bundled product will eventually be a different blend.
Happens all the time here (see Peterson for exhibit A).

the 6.5"x50 Churchill is a good smoke. Pinched a bundle of 20 for $25 last month!
