No, really.

It takes about 2 weeks or so to get anything in the mail out here. So, I sometimes forget what I've ordered and then don't expect anything.

Today I received my first Cigar Snob magazine. It's like a coffee table book sized magazine. It's "The Rum Issue". Looks very good. And, yes, it -does- have a centerfold. ThumpUp

And, got a cool, black Arturo Fuente cap, a fiver of AF Don Carlos Belicosos, and a box of 25 Bolivar Lonsdales that were on sale for like $29.00. Makes you wonder, but I'm hopeful. Angel

Also got in a fiver of Diamond Crown Julius Caeser. The box was just about crushed, but the cigars were unscathed.

You've been curious about the premiums lately. What's your take? Worth it or not so far?

Premiums? Which ones?

I've smoked a few good cigars lately.

Tonight I got off work and it was just starting to rain. Jumped on the bicycle and headed toward home. Just as I pulled out of the driveway of the 'office' and headed down the road there was HUGE flash of lightning. Not like a bolt, but like a giant camera flash. Seemed to leave a weird taste in my mouth. Kept going and about half way down to the Vets Hall there was another full sky flash. So, of course, I stopped in at the Vets Hall. Interestingly, there was no thunder.

I grabbed a beer and an Ave Maria torpedo. As I was sitting on the patio and enjoying that, the wind picked up and the rain started coming down hard and sideways through the patio area. A few other people were there, being Saturday night / Sunday morning. The wind blew down all of the bicycles.

So, I stood over under the 'front porch' out of the direct wind and kept at the Ave Maria. That was a very tasty cigar.

Some of the other 'premiums' lately have been a Las Calaveras. Best cigar I've smoked in a while. And let's see, looking at the bands on my desk, there was a Herrera Esteli, a San Cristobal, a Perla Del Mar, a Leccia Luchador, an Artro Fuente, a Man O' War Puro Authentico, a Tatuaje 7th Capa Especial, a Four Kicks, etc...

It's all been worth it so far. Angel
