Smoking anything special ?

I'll be working, as usual, but I'll probably stop in at the Vets Hall after work and smoke up something.

There was a snafu for the 4th of July fireworks, so they are having fireworks in the lagoon Monday night. I'll have to go out the back door from the office to see 'em.

My first evening out since being squashed..
We went over to friends for dinner, After dinner I sat around their pool and watched My old lady and them swim. I sat in a lounge chair smoked a Punch Punch while sipping scotch till the wee hours..

very enjoyable..

God I wish we had a Dim sum place here...

I'm oncall hoping it stays quiet, if it does I may sneak a tasty corona.

Me and the wombat are planning to smoke lanceros, but we just haven't made a decision as to what ones. Maybe I'll just smoke Gurkhas instead.

^^^Jamie - Lots of great dim sum places here...you're cordially invited to have some should you visit the islands.^^^

Started the day off with a R44. Son will be here for dinner, will open up the Elmer T. Lee that Jamie was kind enough to get for me and see if he wants to smoke a Mag 46 or an Epi #1 with it.

Happy Labor Day.

Smoked my Labor Day cigar last night after work. It's already Sept 1st out here in tomorrow land.

Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur Crusader.

It's just after 10:00 am now. Go to work at 4:00pm. Should see the fireworks out the back door across the lagoon around 8:30. Then, after work, well, technically it will be Sept 2nd, but I'm taking along a

My Father La Antiquedad.

semi rough cigar day for me...
started of with JdN Rosalones.................looooza.......ditched it at an inch
went to a LHC Oscuro Fuerte Toro.......got unlucky....bum stick...didn't make it half way
figured heck, I'm on a roll..............went with that well known place's house brand maduro.........not bad, smoked most of it...
then smoked a nice Fuente 858 Maduro.........

so 4 cigars down, but only about 2 smoked............guess I deserve another
better pick carefully......

Dang SD 3 smokes I live right there. I ended up burning the Summerfest which I was not impressed with and pitched with about 2 inches left because it was tasting like ash. Fininshed with a FFP and enjoyed it but the wrapper split was split down by the head a good bit before I even cut it and that was disappointing. Oh well there is a full days worth of smoking today to look forward to now.

So... I smoked the My Father La Antigeudad tonight. It had some burn issues, but I touched it up past a couple of -small- tunnellings...

It had a great flavor the whole time and I look forward to smoking another... after a little more rest in the humidor. I think I got these less than about 3 weeks ago.

Glad I have enough sticks to make it through the day....

AF Mag R44 and some Mountain Thunder Peaberry Kona coffee. Great combo to start the day. Oh, and some Van Morrison in the background. ThumpUp

^ +1 Aging Room Small Batch are good smokes.

Have to take the day off from cigars. With this chest cold and cough, smoking would be too much Labor!
