Read up on Pepin and his cigars. And, heard some nice comments.

So I bid on a couple of 5 packs. Sampled a couple, then more, and they are good. Rated full.

Won a box of 20 last night for good price on CB; therefore I may have graduated from the fumas grade to junior high. At least after finishing the box I hope to be able to say I found the anchor for my boat and start buying. Personally at least in price this should be getting into the higher grade of cigars Right?

My $55.00 to me is a good price.

Is the Punch line and/or Aging Room of similarity?

I don't like connecticut wrapper, but do like all maduro wrapper and Nicaragua tobacco for sure and a few natural wrappers.

Thanks.

If you like the Pepin's look at My Father, Jamie Garcia, and Tatuaje.
Meh on the Punch's & Aging Room's.
But believe Punch may be doing a Media Noche so that may be worth trying.

Nothing at all wrong with Punch maduro's and most Aging room stuff but only you will be able to tell if they are for
you.

The Punch Gran Cru maddies age very well also.......

Good luck!

The legados are like the 5 Vegas Miamis from a few years back - close enough to Pepin to bear the name, but nothing like the smokes that have won him the accolades.

I'd stick to the My Fathers (esp. the Bijou), brown label Tats, and DPG blue and black labels. All else is underwhelming.

.....these are my favorite Corojo. Excellent, smooth medium flavor after a few months of naked cedar aging.

Dont forsake the red and black label tats, both very good. also I really enjoy the el centurian in a corona gorda vitola, as well as the flor de las antillas.

I've smoked through a couple of boxes of the Legados. Churchills and Toros. It's a good cigar. I like the flavor profile. They have a rustic appearance, but burned well. I haven't encountered the green-ness that has been mentioned. At $55 for a box, it's a good value. I'd buy more of them for an every day smoke.
