(hope I'm listing this in the right area)

Hi ya'all, I've had an account for a while now but I haven't taken the time to introduce myself and get to know ya.

My name's Joe, I'm 40 years old, married, have a 14 year old daughter and am a disabled Veteran. I was a cigarette smoker for 27 years when I started having some trouble breathing when the weather got cold. I'm originally from Indiana. So, I switched to cigars about a year and a half ago full time. I gotta tell ya, I feel a lot better and I'm learning more and more about cigars every day. I think that's what I like so much about the cigar lifestyle....and it is a lifestyle (as far as I'm concerned). There is so much to learn that it keeps it interesting. Every cigar has it's own "story" I guess. I've spoiled myself in the fact that I can't stomach machine rolled cigars anymore, but I'd rather have one 94 rated stick then 10 "normal" sticks. I guess I'm a cigar snob, but you won't hear me complaining. My wife even supports my addiction!!! How awesome is that???

I spend my days sitting on my porch, listening to music, smoking cigars, and sharpening knives to pass the time. The VA screwed me up (that's a whole nuther story), so I'm actually retired at 40.

I'm looking forward to talking to everyone and getting to know ya'all.

Thanks for your service Joe, welcome aboard.

Have you seen a grown man naked?

Learned the search function here, and looked up "Thonginator"

Cello on or off?

Beads or kitty litter?

Pancakes or Waffles?

Do you like camping?

Welcome to the asylum from the top left hand corner of your home state.

Many of us have a similar story regarding our trip into cigar land. Its a slippery slope that's all to fun to ride.

Welcome to the asylum

Speaking of Turkish prisons

Why don't you walk the wheel with us? What is the matter my American friend? What has upset you? Oh! I know. The bad machine doesn't know that he's a bad machine. You still don't believe it. You still don't believe you're a bad machine? To know yourself is to know God, my friend. The factory knows, that's why they put you here. You'll see... You'll find out... In time, you'll know

Always good to have a few more vets around here.

Sounds like you are well on your way into this hobby/obsession.

Waffles are for bi-curious communists.....

Pancakes are the only patriotic American answer (I also accept "flapjacks")

If you like camping we can knock at least 2 off your list, and I'm the only normal one here btw.

You'll discover that there are several posters here that, no matter the thread subject, will end it by stabbing each other with homosexual tensions and innuendos and general high schoolish shenanigans about who's got the bigger... whatever.

Sometimes cigars get discussed.

Welcome aboard, Noob. Be very careful who you talk to around here. ZRX is the equivalent of the guy in the "Free Candy and Kittens" windowless panel van. If Wheelrite asks you if you want "smoke a Cuban", he's talking about his pool boy Paco. King of the Cove actually ENJOYS camping with ZRX. It can get pretty weird around here.

I'm one of the good ones. You can trust me.

First thing you'll want is a Platinum Membership.
They are hard to come by, but if you send ZRX ia pic of yourself smoking a big cigar, wearing only a jock-strap, he'll put in a good word to his mommy, La Princessa, and your quest to Platinum status will be quicker.

That's how a few of the noobs from 2013 got their memberships so quickly.

I thought on the new program you hadda go through the steps:

Bronze
Silver
Gold
Platinum

And they were all volume driven so the amount you spent determined how quickly you could rise up.
