If you decided for what ever reason to stop smoking, what do you think would happen?

I knew a nice BOTL who suddenly gave up smoking cigars and pipes to placate his girlfriend. He was there one day and vanished the next day.

Even if I quit I do not think I would quit harassing people here. You guys are irreplacable.

As far as the smelly beard, take a bath fog sheesh leave it an old guy to have to answer the obvious hygene question.

I find a few minute investment in soap and water works wonders.LOL

Bit of mouth wash....change your shirt....

or find her a cigar she would like and problem solved.

What a cigar tease with the title.
Thought the wombat was going to be letting go of some super-premiums on the cheap.

If I include shipping costs for trades/bombs and beers for trades etc, I probably spent close to if not more than $3k on my cigar hobby this year. Maybe even 4...

But, I've had a lot of fun, and it's more or less taken the place of other leisure time activities that burn just as much money, like playing with old motorcycles, or my race car - both of which are pretty much lost for a long time now that I've got a kid. I still race, but as part of a team, no longer solo, sold the car. And now that wife and I cant just hop on a bike and ride, that's gone too.

Could definitely use the money elsewhere, but I budget a percentage for personal play money and always find something for it. So without cigars, it'll be some other fiscally irresponsible hobby. Im sure ill give up cigars at some point as well, and just find something new to explore. I'm not one to stick with a hobby forever, one I feel I've experienced it fully, I find something new.

Dr dan, that's my feelings as of late. I'm not smoking like I used to and I'm not enjoying them like I used to. I to tend to get bored with hobbies.
I do enjoy passes even the lost ones, it gives jamie something to say lol.

Probably would mean I got some disease that would mean I'd have to stop or die. Hell who knows with my problems now it could be a possibility. I did quit smoking cigarettes years ago as it was always my plan that if I had children I would quit yet now I smoke cigars so go figure.

I love cigars, the only way I'd ever quit is if was a matter of dieing.
Cigars are part of the package, anyone I get involved with will have to deal that's all ther is to it.

Even if I quit I'd probably still collect and have one on occasion. I also enjoy the icebreaker in a social situation. Although, one thing that does bother me that only recently has seemed to start is cigarette smokers flocking to stand around for a 2-5 minute conversation while they blow their toxic piss my way. Nothing like a good old $0.25 smoke to fudge up my $5-30 smoke. I'm finding myself more picky with my cigars of choice and the same with where and when I want to enjoy them

This is an easy one. First you give a lot of your cigars away and then you sell some of the whole boxes. This is like the Mob, you are never really out of the madness.

To be honest, I could probably survive without smoking but not nearly as well. Nothing relaxes me more than a good cigar (or a bowful of a good pipe tobacco.) Herfing
