Your vendor should replace it.

Didnt happen to come in through Florida did it? Multiple seizure posts on other boards, seemed most came through entry ports in FL iirc.

Haven't had a letter yet but this is the 4th or 5th post I've read in a month about it.

Had an order lined up but decided to hold out a while.

Things may not be as bad as I first thought. I have exchanged several emails with the vendor since yesterday afternoon. He is of the opinion that the letter I received is for a previous order. He asked me if I had any other orders that went missing and I advised that I had two from different vendors earlier this year. His experience with US Customs is it normally takes approximately six months for them to generate a letter after seizing an order.

Guess I will know in the next couple of days.

And fyi, the other vendors did make good on their missing orders.

I got the letter in 30-45 days of the seizure. The empty box with green tape and the note followed the letter 2-3 months.Vendor made good but does not do business in the USA any longer. They got hit hard in Chicago........lots of packages intercepted over a couple week period.

Order that I was concerned about arrived today. Guess the paperwork is for the earlier order that was lost 5 or 6 months ago.

Nick - they get seized when the customs guys get low - they don't buy here - they grab packages as they "arrive" for inspection...... Farging Bastages

I'm a little worried, got a couple packages that haven't showed up yet when one package from the order did show up (last week).

Hopefully it shows up in the next couple days.

One of the packages I'm waiting on contains a box of Siglo II :/

I have gotten 2 packages, recently, one just the day before yesterday.

In the ten years, or so, that I have been ordering, I have only had one letter. (Knock on wood)

The vendor just reshipped.

They seem to play little games for their amusement sometimes. I once received 2 orders 9 months after they were shipped. The vendor had shipped them one day apart and they were held at customs and arrived exactly one day apart. Sick bastiges!

The vendor had replaced both boxes and asked me to dispose of the dried out sticks.

It's official, got my very first "Letter".

I feel like this is some sort of twisted right of passage.

I actually feel like I graduated to non-noob status today (I'm sure some will disagree).

You should have the "letter" framed. In about 20 years or so (maybe sooner), it will be a collector's item and worth a fortuen.

Package was supposedly re-shipped, it's already been a couple weeks...

Hope I don't get another friggin letter for the re-ship.
