Good morning gents. Anyone know why CB/CI stopped carrying Pueblo Dominicano smokes? Remarkably good stick and an unbelievable value. Down to my last one and looking to buy some more. Long ashes and smooth draws to all. Thanks.

Google it lots of info out there on PD. It's been a LE in the past when it was at the la aurora factory then the line was picked up by AJ Fernandez. Could just be out of stock or might be out of the habano colored oscuro wrapper. The more I look I beleive its a dinosaur.

CI has removed all their links from their website. Usually if the CI home page search engine can't or won't bring up a certain cigar referencing that cigar and CI on Google together will bring up the CI ad for the cigar. Not this time though the links are gone and I would wager that the cigars are too.

Welcome to the forum be sure to read the sticky for newbies and the abbreviations thread a few posts down in this forum. Also search for the thonginator thread lots of useful info in there too.

I remember the original Pueblo Dominicano, that was a good cigar. I want to say they were from Jose Blanco and La Aurora.

I got one on CBID in December of last year, but the indications are not good for them still being around.

CI has owned the trademark on that cigar for some time, like around 10-12 years, so they can bring it back if & whenever they want with whomever making it that they contract.

So future edition could vary greatly from prior editions.

I was a fan of what was referred to as PD II. I bought my last box in 2008 for $46 and dragged it out as long as I could...at least a couple years before I smoked the last one. They were, indeed, tasty.
