The first couple of bundles of these things I got back in the day were incredible cigars for the price. Then I got a bad bundle and I stopped buying them for a while. I tried to give them another shot a few years later, but they were even worse. (*SIDE NOTE* What the hell happened to these cigars?)

The one I'm smoking now is from one of the first bundles I got, back in 2007. I had given a few to my friend. He doesn't smoke many cigars, and with his brother giving him smokes too, he's got a full desktop humidor and maybe smokes 1 cigar every couple of months. So when I was digging through his humidor, I grabbed this old Nestor.

I wish these cigars were still this good. What a great smoke. Medium "strength", loads of flavor, lots of depth to the flavor. A bit of a crooked burn, but I attribute that to my buddy keeping his RH as close to 70 as possible.

I remember smoking 2-3 of these a week years ago. I got a couple of singles a while back and they didn't even make it past the first inch. They were awful. Maybe I should have let them sit in the humi for 8 years.

I smoked a bundle of these when I first started smoking cigars years ago. The flavor was good but, like you said, the burn was atrocious. I had to keep touching it up and no amount of aging helped. I threw in the towel on this one long ago.
