I have been picking up a few of these each time I drop by a certain B and M. I talked to a guy in another B and M who when i mentioned i liked these he said "Ooooo We're out, you got to get em while you can!". So I dropped by my orig source and got a couple more. But every time I go in they are still for sale on the shelf. At $6 ea, hard to pass up.

I wonder how many is too many....I usually want to vary my selection but feel compelled to buy these whenever I see them due to their supposed rarity and that they might not be available when I want one. I have over a dozen in my humidor right now. At this point I should have bought a box but I haven't bought many boxes.

If they are made all the time i wont worry...if they come out twice a year, I probably wont worry either.

How many more do you need? Just one more.

That's what I tell my wife each time I order more cigars for the last time.

Anything over one cigar per day, times the number of days left on your life expectancy chart would be too many.

To answer the OP question, I only have about a dozen left, so I need to re-up.

Tom - next time you can find them for a good price (...under $6...), buy a box. You'll never have buyer's remorse as you'll, most likely, save some money and as the months / years roll by, they'll get better and better (...at least imo...).

And they are good in bombs. I heard their ring gauge meets Palama's sub-50 preference, and FGM is an AF ho.

Guess I need to stock up too!

Which month is bomb your vet month? Isn't it SepOctoDecemuary?

I've been thinking.....if they have any boxes, I should seriously consider stocking my arsenal....especially if they are worth aging. Thanks to all for the feedback.

It's been my experience that they age very nicely. If you ever find yourself not liking them anymore after a few years or more, you shouldn't have a problem getting your money back out of them. One of the few NC cigars that you can say that about.

Local got in two boxes of the chatueas, one natural the other sungrown. The natural sold out quickly but luckily the sungrowns have been there the last two times I was in but at $7 each I just need to buy my own box from CI. Only bought 3 so far. With winter coming, I like the short robusto size. Might get back there this weekend to grab a few more.

Seems to be the average price, give or take a few $.

$114.95/box, in stock, downtown Orlando.

It sells Hemingway Sun Growns too, out of stock now.

While we are on the subject of Fuente Sun Growns, there is a place in PA sells Rosado Sun Grown Magnum R44 for $227.92/box. You have to call to place an order.

How many is to many? Well, it's never to many unless the old lady finds them. Then I just point to her closet full of shoes/purses and the subject is quickly dropped.

Been getting them for about $5 per stick and keep a few in the humi at all times.

Trick question.

Cobra, I have no idea what is different about the composition, but to me, there's no comparing any chateau SG to 858 SG.....or King or Queen....Cuban Beli comes closest.

The 858 SG comes as close to the perfect NC cigar that I can think of.....and I don't really like any other Fuentes much.

Price, flavor, strength, construction....idk...the 858 SG is incredible.

never can have to many AF Sungrown. Excellent smoke. Also try Rocky Patel Fusion and Perdomo EVS2002 Sungrown. Very similar and cheaper.

That's good to know. I will have to try to find some, got a trip to my favorite b&m 130 miles away coming up in a few weeks.

Found them online. Might have to order a fiver to see if I can taste the difference you speak of. The 858 vitola is my favorite size.

For what it's worth I have boxes going back to the O R 2002 in both 858SG and Rosado. They age beautifully for many years and change into very unique flavors of citrus after about 7-8 years.
