roaming the interwebs i ran into this description for a cigar

Roly Cigars

Roly is a premium blend manufactured by Rolando Reyes Senior in Honduras. They’re surrounded in a beautiful, oily wrapper from the finest Sumatra seed, with its filler from the Dominican Republic. Roly cigars are actually Puros Indios seconds. A cigar second is a cigar that has some sort of slight imperfection. The color of wrapper may be a little off, or the cigar may not be perfectly round, or some other kind of minor blemish.

i barfed in my mouth as soon as i read PI 2nds Sick

Even though he is now dead, Rolando Reyes Sr., still inspects every cigar rolled at his factory. Sarcasm

And I hear he would go to the factory at night when everyone is gone and checks over all the work to insure quality. He probably haunts the place now.

Coincidentally, I ran into Rolando Reyes Jr. yesterday. Nice guy. He is no longer involved in the company and has a cool little cigar bar in rural Dade City, FL.

Roly has been produced for as long as I can remember.

They should do like Domino's pizza did and try something different

Enjoyed a PI as a N00B one night in the 'Stan, but some of it was how the day had gone and who I was with.

I'd take them in a "Pass the Trash" trade or for $.50-$1 for the dog rocket/yard gar box in the coolerdor, but $40 for a bundle of 20?

Oh, look, another overbid thread!

I have a friend who buys bundles of them. Just chews the crepe out of them when golfing.

I saw them for sale south of here a few years ago, but never bought or smoked any. I think they were around a buck a stick and only sold by the box. I seem to remember an old cheap cigar box in the garage that said Roly on it- I'll have to look again.
