I just have some questions about cigars... what do you keep theme in? Is the plastic sleeve some of them come in enough? Why don't they all come that way? Thank you in advance for any information...

That covering is called "cigar condom" and it's important in helping prevent STDs and dirty mechanics hands (pretty much the same thing)

I keep mine in a Gucci driving shoes box, with a piece of lettuce for humidity control.

Cigars that don't come with "cigar condoms" are for reprobate and savages. Don't be that guy (or gal)......

If you soak them for a couple days then return them to the quarantine condom they are usually moist enough to stay fresh for a while

Humidity control? Are they really called cigar condoms? Seems like there's a lot to this...

Soak them in what? I don't want them to go bad!!! My whole cigar interest started when I went to Mexico... I bought some Cohiba cigars that were in a box with a glass top, and they were absolutely the best cigars I have ever had... I'll be going back soon, if any of you want me to get some for you? Your information is super helpful!!!

A prince from Africa emailed me and said he had a ton of money but his uncle was mean so he was looking for something to do with it. He may be interested in some of those cigars. I'll email him back and let you know.

hahah you guys are dicks, how could you give somebody such terrible, misleading information, everybody knows, the best way to keep a cigar properly humidified is to pair it with a top shelf bourbon, whiskey, or scotch. I always take my new cigars and put them in a shoe box. I then pour out a bottle of Glenlivet single malt all over them.

I work up a good sweat at the gym and use my own perspiration. It adds a deep musky flavor.

You can also infuse them by leaving them in a bottle of maple syrup, dont waste money on the good stuff...use the cheap stuff, save the good stuff for waffles

He never even said what kind of cigars he got. Maybe he got some super expensive, crazy rare, hyper blended Gurkhas...I hope he got the solid gold digital hygrometer with laser beam detection or else those bad boys are gonna be worthless.

If you follow the proper procedures by putting a cap full of aqua in there you will be fine and make sure they are in direct sunlight that will help with the humidity the evaporation theory you know that is what everbody is doing now

As long as you keep fresh lettuce on the bottom and use the evaporation theory they will only get better with time

I'm trying to be serious here, but that guy ZRX1200 seems like kind of a jerk... I like the flavoring suggestions, and the cigar condoms make sense, but the lettuce thing sounds stupid... I thought I was coming here for good advice, not deal with a child...

If you can't find cigar condoms, the Trojans with the spermicidal lubricant work great. The spermicide keeps them fresh.
