it's an auction... they're overpriced if you overpay... they're a good little cigar...

with overruns - you get what you pay for... call them what you want, they were rejected from the regular production line and that makes them rejects... and they usually smoke the way a reject does...

I like em.... I pay $2-$3 a stick here. How much cheaper do want them to be? That's cheaper than most dog rockets! and it's a solid little flavor bomb. Never had a dud. Always perfect burn. Draw, tons of flavor and smoke...

Just paid $37 for 10 here.

http://www.cigarbid.com/...ro-Authentico-Corona-10/

They are $60 over at CI.

Tasty little smokes. And you gotta pay a little extra for the dead leaves they pack 'em in, in the box.

pricing per unit...
$2 - fantastic
$3 - good
$4 - average
$5 - too much
$6 - stupid

mid 30s for a 10-pack is a solid deal
they age well too imo

I think they are overpriced, maybe a deal can be had this coming winter or some strange week on CBID if you can be patient. Nearly $ 4 a stick by a box of 10 may be too much to pay.

I've always paid $37 or less.

If you think these are a bad deal you either don't like the flavor profile or you're a jackass.

You can usually pick these up off the Jam every so often for $35 with free shipping. $3.50 a stick is good value in my opinion for a spicy little firecracker.

3.5 for that stick is a reasonable price. I get mine for 5 bucks, but don't have much chose here.

Never tried one and I'm not stupid enough to pay $ 40 for 10 unknowns.

Singles have gone for $2, and regularly for $3 here.........easy way to try a couple.
Reviews on these are quite favorable at all the usual places.

The pepper on retrohale is a bit much for me rott, or close to rott......I like them to sit at least 6 months.
Never had a bad one with respect to burn, draw or flavor.....probably smoked 50 or so.

I'll have to try a single if they show up in a week where I'm bidding.

Bringing this back up.

I was hesitant on these, as a noob my experience is limited. B&m didn't carry em, and I dont like to bid on singles except for the quickie one day auctions when I'm closing out an order.

Glad I bought the fiver. A month ago I didn't care for em rott. After a couple weeks out the cello in my humi, its a great $2-3 stick.

Solid smoke throughout the burn. Had to toss at the band simply because I need to go to bed. Was still going strong. Spicy, med-full flavor and medium strength.

I finally picked up a few of these, both regular and maduro and at the low end of King's price range. Will be letting them sit and rest for a while before I try them.

Did he say out of the cello? aging out of the cello instead of in the cello? Wait, it matters and there is a better way to do it. Cello on? Cello off? WHAT DA?

Dunno. Id imagine humidity would stabilize slightly faster out than in.

Haven't been at it long enough to really experiment.

For the record I do leave most in the cello. A fiver gets one or two removed and put on the tray in my desktop, the rest lay in my hybrid for a bit longer before smoking.

These are two of my favorites - never had to pay more than $3 here - who got them for 72 cents? Or is that just his max bid? Now, watch the prices go up after this thread...

that was simply paying homage to DP Newell, the "master of the deal".......
and Dave was a pro bidder, saw some crazy scores he made here, but more often at other places....
