Question about Boveda packs

I've got a Treasure Dome humidor which is relatively large. About 250 capacity. Do I really need 10 Boveda packs to keep humidity right? It seems like they would take up so much space I wouldn't have much room for cigars.

They don't take up that much space, you can put them on top, underneath, on the side of the cigars. I only have 5-6in my 300 count and holds right on the money. But, your location may effect how many you need I'm not sure, just experiment a little bit. I also plan on switching to heartfelt beads, boveda packs are great but do get pricey after awhile.

Maybe 10 of the lil bitty ones.

2 fullsize Bovedas should be sufficient if it seals well.

Experiment and figure out what works for you.

Do you have 10 boveda packs?

As long as the seal is good and you don't open it a lot 3-4 will be fine.

Too many broveda packs is far better than that pizz-collecting sh|t-clumping material in a humi!

I have the el diablo which is a 300 count. I use 7 packs. You need one for the humidor itself and one for every 50 cigars the humi can hold. You should be fine with 6 packs.

I find that 1 Boveda works well with 50 cigars. It really depends on the relative humidity in the room where your humidor is. If it's dryer, you'll need more, more damp; less.

Extra packs will not hurt anything, just take up room. I use three in my 50 count. I could get away with using two but by using three, the humidity should remain stable for a longer period of time.
