I thought you were joking, but apparently you're not. I checked it out online. This reminds me of the Gurkha Black Dragon that was released a few years ago which went for about the same amount of money. Now, you can buy a Black Dragon for a fiver or less, but there are people who tell me that it is not the same cigar that was originally released.

The only thought that comes to mind is "what could a $2,000 cigar ever deliver to a cigar smoker that would make him want to buy such an expensive cigar?" As for me, I wouldn't care if such a cigar made fire shoot out of my rear end when I lit it up.

In any event, I am very wary of "limited editions." They appear (to me) to be nothing more than a marketing ploy (in most cases) to snare gullible buyers.

Shame on you

I did the internet check also. It is supposed to replace the Gurkha His Majesty's Reserve as the "most expensive cigar in the world," which is $1250, but you can buy at one internet store for $400, but reviews as bitter and he almost threw it out when he got to the last third. At a MSRP of $2000, i bet these will be flying of the shelf !!

Just think, only $20,000 for a box of ten and you can brag to your friends that you just smoked a Gurkha. Sarcasm
