Got a box of the Toros, wasn't crazy about the first one but after they rested and settled down not a bad smoke but pretty sure they are better in a petit. Not a masterpiece but a decent dark rich cigar - anyone's thoughts on these?

The blacks are okay, whites not so much.

Many better even at the same price. Won't buy. If you do, black short rob or the lil short corona

Thought the blacks were too strong. If I have any left they will be about 2-3 years aged and might have smoothed out. Have yet to try the white (have at least one aged a couple of years), but have yet to hear anyone rave about them.

Hmm...wished you had mentioned this a few days ago. I have a pack of the whites coming. This does not put them in a good light.

I have only tried the Whites. Not bad, but a bit spotty on quality. Worth the dough however.

I like the obsidian mini coronas. They taste decent, hoping they get better with rest but they put out an obscene amount of smoke for such a small cigar.

Liked the mini, though IIRC they seemed to have been colored. Didn't like the larger sizes.

I'll finish the toros since I jumped on a frigging box and try the minis. Finding a lot of petits and minis that are great larger sizes not so much.

used to smoke a lot of the mini corona's when they could be had for a buck... now that they've been retooled or whatever it is that's drastically decreased the amount of tobacco used, they're not even worth that...

the whites just came out in the last year if I'm not mistaken... never did try them as the quality of the blacks had gone the way of gurkha by then...

The Whites came out in March of 2013 or earlier. The one I have is a 10 month old Belicoso and I'll probably fire it up in the spring.

The black in corona tasted like burnt toast to me. Have a white I haven't tried yet.

Both the black and white were decent. I bought too many black at one time and now I can't touch em. They were perfect to use in the mix to fatten up bombs to the troops

They definitely stink...in the literal sense of the word. Not a bad cigar but when I came back in the house my kids said it stinks real bad and my wife made me change clothes and spray the house. Never had to do that with any other cigar.
