Never heard of this one before, but it's made by Crowned Heads, so I decided to try it out on C-bid. Quite a nice surprise. Many years ago I smoked a Cuban Cohiba a friend had given me and, although it was small. it was the nicest smoke I ever had. This one comes damn close. It was 5.2 x 44; something on the order of a short lancero (or a Cuban cigar.) It had notes of cedar, leather, espresso and pepper; very spicy with a long finish. No construction issues either, Nice-looking cigar, with an even burn and draw, thick wrapper and no touch-ups required. Not overly strong either, but you can get a buzz on an empty stomach. Picked up a fiver on C-bid for $23.00. The same fiver sells online for $38.50. Herfing

They have a high rating and over on the one thread several guys have mentioned the Headley Grange as one of their favorites. I keep bidding on them, but keep getting sniped. Hmmm...you snipe me?

Although I admit not knowing what "sniping" is, I doubt it. I just put in one bid, not expecting to win or, if I won, they would be dog rockets. I was pleasantly surprised by this one. All I can say is, "Try Again." You never know and that is the fun of an auction.

Sniping is the hunting of snipes- little nocturnal critters not easily caught. Apparently something lacking in your life education.

Sniping is common on ebay. Hanging until the last few seconds and then upping the bid and taking it away from another bidder. Which you really didn't do. I was just razzing you. The bids end up around here at about 11:00 to 12:00 every night. I would have no idea if I was sniped. By that time I would have been asleep for at least 2 hours!

Killjoy ! I've actually used automated sniping on EBAY. There are several programs out there that put in your bid in the last few seconds. I started using it when my internet connection was sporadic and later when I didn't have the time to watch the end of the bidding. I haven't used it in a couple of years.

So you are the one who sniped all of my bids !!! I'll be swinging by tonight after work to retrieve all those items you took from me.
