I hate the Barekunckle myself but you got to give that smoker in the photo credit. That's a pretty good burn for not having cut the cap...

More seriously, I just had what I assume is the smaller London Club size standard Punch. It was given to me and fired it up yesterday. Have not had any Punches in a long time and never had this size. I have to say i was pleasantly surprised with this one. Flavorful, sort of earthy in a pleasant way, mild spice, not super strong -more medium I would say. Nice aftertaste.

Anybody else have more input on these. Anyone ever see them on C-bid? Might stock up for when want a shorter smoke.

They used a shuriken(sp?)

I really liked the UpperCut line, but the bareknuckles are not bad as well, but never had the London Club size.

Well Charlie, the one I had was a freebie and had 0 expectations, but wanted a short smoke. I was very pleasantly surprised how good it was and how long it lasted for a small size. It's not a CC rolled by Fidel on a Virgin's thigh but very nice little smoke. Right now can 25 plus a cutter at mothership for under $2 a piece and I think that's a good price for this smoke. Hope ever on cbid would be even better.

I have a few standard Punch cigars and they're all right. They fall into my "not bad" category. Not particularly memorable but they'll do the job.

The Bareknuckles on the other hand are atrocious. The couple I tried were the lumpiest, most ill-formed things I'd ever laid eyes on. And the flavor was abhorrent. Each one I got about five minutes into and had to toss in disgust.

But some people dig 'em.

The London Club is one of my go to daily smokes, I like both the Natural and Maduro, they always burn straight, and the flavor is there.

I could not agree with you more on the Bareknuckles. Got some in a sampler and then some later as a gift. Horrible. Unless the constancy is so bad that there are some people getting decent smokes, I have no clue how there could be any good reviews for this thing on the mothership and other places.

In fact, it was the Bareknuckles that made me suspicious about getting any punch sticks recently. That is, until I had this small London Club one which was very enjoyable.

Never had one of the NC Punchs but the CC Punch Punch and Super Selection No.1 are outstanding cigars.

I haven't tried any of these yet, but I'll put them on my to try list. I got a list of CCs going, luckily enough I've had several brothers like your self build me up a nice sampler to work through. I've been slowly working through it, and have been adding things to my to buy list.
