On Friday, Feb 20th, I will be retiring after 40+ years of working as a Medical Technologist in the Laboratory.
The predominant question on my mind right now is NOT how I am going to spend the rest of my life, BUT, in fact, after "getting off work" that last night
WHICH cigar will I smoke to commemorate such a momentous occasion . Think

My guess is it will probably be an OR Pepin rolled Padilla Miami 8&11 torp.
Of course, that Partagas 150 robbie may also be in trouble !
Hell . . . Who am I kidding ? They BOTH will be ashed, I'm sure. ThumpUp

Congratulations and welcome to the RETARD Club, jespear. I picked a Camacho Liberty 2013 (the year of my retirement - Liberty from having to work) for my celebratory smoke, and smoked an '07 Liberty on the anniversary (12/31) a few weeks ago. I have about 20 of them from different years, and will go through them one at a time, each year on the anniversary of my retirement. I hope I outlast my stash, and that they are still available if I do...

Congrats John.

I can retire in about one year and five months. I'll be 6 weeks shy of 51. Coincidentally, I spent time on the phone today with a few folks regarding my new career when I retire. I plan to start a small business with exactly one employee, me! I doubt I'll ever retire. Perhaps slow down, but never retire completely.

huge mazel tov to ya, and tell mjtoal that the toaster pastry he sent me with the bite taken out of it is still the funniest thing I ever got in the mail.

the rest of it was delicious, however.
