H. Upmann Connoisseur Band Question

I have a Cab of 25. The cigars do not have bands. Is this the way they ordinarily come or did the highly trusted vendor remove the bands and then fail to send the bands to me?

Probably a dumb follow-on question, but why are bands removed by some of the cuban vendors to begin with?

Looks like it may depend on the vitola - I did see a corona listing with a picture with no band - everything else I've seen (other sizes) do have a band.

Depends on the box age. All older Connies came without bands but I think they started adding bands recently.

What is the boxcode?
As DED has mentioned. they used to be bandless. They started putting bands on them in 2005.

Probably taken off by whoever your vendor was, since I assume the box was opened and inspected. Could be a case of Cuba being Cuba though.

They are Connie #1's from 2011.....newer stock than yours I'm sure :)
