So... I've been working a midnight shift the last two days... and also tonight. Get off at 8:00am. Day before yesterday I stopped in at the Vets Hall on the way home. Only difference from my usual routine being that the sun was up!

Anyway, I was in the mood for breakfast beers, Bass Ale, and cigars. Grabbed a RP Carillo robusto from the humidor. Haven't had one of those in a while, but it was very tasty and kinda potent! There was a nice breeze going on. After that I lit up an American Legion robusto. Right off the bat those things smoke easy, produce a lot of smoke, and have a nice flavor.

Then yesterday, did the same thing. But started off with a Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970 Consul. Man... nothing like a potent breakfast cigar! After that I had another American Legion robusto, Those just make a nice ending to a little smoke session. When I get out of here tomorrow morning I'll be passing up the Vets Hall and going home for some early sleep. Have that night off so I'll get up and go back for another smoke at a normal hour in the late afternoon.

Carry on.

wombats. They are one of the most unpleasant races in the galaxy. Not actually evil, but bad-tempered, bureaucratic, officious, and callous. They wouldn't even lift a finger to save their own grandmothers from the ravenous Bug-Blatter Beast of Traal without orders signed in triplicate, sent in, sent back, lost, found, queried, subjected to public inquiry, lost again, and finally buried in soft peat for three months and recycled as firelighter.

Uncle Lewis: Hey Gris, you're not doing anything constructive. Run into the living room and get my stogey.

Josey Wales: Now remember, when things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean. I mean plumb, mad-dog mean. 'Cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live nor win. That's just the way it is.

Jamie: You can't get 'em all, Josie.
Josey Wales: That's a fact.
Jamie: How come you're doing this, then?
Josey Wales: Because I ain't got nothin' better to do.

I have been reading your post about your local vets hall a lot so i decided to drop in to the local VFW and surprise them with a bunch of cigars. It was St Patty's day so i though that would be a good enough reason for celebration. I was astounded, they did not have a humidor. I passed out cigars to all and ate a plate of leftover potatoes and carrots fro the corned beef dinner that I missed.
