^Some of CI Exclusives are decent smokes. Just because most of their owned labels are crap, does not mean they all are.

also, according to Trademarkia these bad boys are owned and marketed under Cigars International exclusively......interesting.

Yessir, that along with MANY others. You'll learn as you go along.

I've heard they are not bad, but not anything special. My palate is off right now, so I'm not trying the torpedo I have. I've tried the Black Crown Ale when it first came out and it too is not bad, but nothing special (6% alcohol).

Lit my first after about a month in the humi, I found the construction to be flawed as it began to explode and tear down the side. After the first third it cleared up. Could have been the transition into 100% humidity outside.

I found the strength to be light to medium. Ceder and light spices appear from the start and the palette is coated with a light oily slick. Picked up a light earthy sweetness that does remind me of a port as mentioned by DMV.

The second third begins to mellow out with a minor split in the wrapper. Lightly sweet tobacco flavor takes over with a hint of the spice at the back of the throat. Strength climbing to about a medium at the halfway point.

The last third seems to remain medium in strength with a very light hint of what appears to be raisin on the retrohale. All other aspects remain the same as in the second third.

Over all it was an enjoyable cigar, I would rate it at 2.5 out of 5. Some complexity is there in the first half but it lays down after half time. I would not consider it box worthy but will definitely trade and partner of mine for a few more after they age a little longer.

Pulled one of these that was sitting in the humidor for a few months. Good mild to medium stick with some wood flavors that left a slight oil slick in the mouth. As I got near the band the cigar got kind of spongy and had a bit of an ammonia taste but I got an enjoyable hour plus out of a churchill size.
