yeah, I hear ya. I think they need a serious amount of rest before they're ready to smoke. ROTT they're liable to make you go blind. What I meant by "full throttle". I have a couple of bundles buried down deep where they won't see the light again until Xmas at the earliest.

With how cheap you can generally get JdN's regular line, why bother with these???

can't help myself, I'm a skin-flint and these really were cheap. Fell victim to the CI reviews page. I do believe they have potential though probably need lots of rest. I have a few sticks (believe it or not) that I've been resting for 10+ years, simply amazing. Padron aniv, rare corojo, and cc Monte#2's. Hoping these JDN's will at least be smokable yard gars after about 6 mo. rest. If not, I'll just gift them to the inlaws, moochers et al.

this......times 100.....
the Oscuro Fuerte can be had for $1.50ish....
the 1970 Consul for $2.00........a bit more for the Gran Consul
the Antano for mid $2.00....sometimes less....
why bother........

I've got some of these, coronas, from the first release and they are excellent. Definitely worth aging, wasn't too impressed when I got them either but they are one of my go-to's. Smoke whatcha like...

Stick with the JdN 1970 Antano and the Dark Corojo. Reds are OK...

Tony if they didn't like them, I sent Gurkhas they could tape them to for IEDs to throw at the hadjis.

Mine were corona from the first release too.
