Any thoughts on this one from A J Fernandez? He has a new Connecticut version as well.....reminds me of Camacho Connecticut. For the price they seem to be a good value.......Nice burning Nicaraguan. I can buy them as singles for under $5 at B&M but maybe that is introductory price.

I didn't like the Connecticut as much. I liked the flavoring in the original New World. More coffee/espresso flavoring. I tend to like those flavorings in a cigar but not on an infused level.

It's ok but I wasn't overwhelmed.

Haven't tried a Connecticut that I've liked yet, so pretty sure I would hate it.

Have not tried, but it's on my list. Not sure on the Connecticut, though. I tend to go Connecticut for morning smokes and was not impressed with the Camacho flovor profile. I think the Nick's Sticks connie tastes how I thought the Camacho would.

Actually liked the Connie better than the other, but it was only OK. Not as harsh, and seemed like a decent any time smoke. Carillo's New Wave is a better connie for a little less money...

It really doesn't taste like Camacho as Honduran is different and less peppery than Nicaraguan.......what i meant to say it was similar in that it was a Connecticut wrapper on an otherwise stronger filler which makes for an interesting combo toning the whole thing down from fuller to be more medium than the regular New World. More flavor than your typical mild Connecticut. That being said there may be others that do this better and it is an interesting area to explore.

Got two New Worlds on recommendations from a B&M friend, didn't like it.
Honestly I just haven't cared for any of the Fernandez blends I've had. Add a Connecticut wrapper which I've never liked on anything and a def no go.
That other New World is still sitting in my cabinet tray, have to gift it I guess because I'm not going to smoke it.
That would be the one the shpo guy told me tasted like a 20.00 Padron. Full of crap

Might want to try an Eiroa and see what a real Honduran is, the original Camacho character is being carried on in that line and a Honduran puro especially corojo is quite peppery.

Never have and i certainly will now......i was unimpressed with Camacho corojo and thought it was just a style that didnt do anything for me.
