I originally posted this in General Discussion. My brother, whose opinion I value highly, suggested I re-post here. So, here goes.

2nd weekend in September in Stetson, Maine. Come for a day or the whole weekend. Plenty of free parking, we might even have cake.

sd thought you were having a fashion show.

I'll be up in Maine that week and should make it on Sunday. Seems a long way off.

Fashion show? In Maine?

Hmmmm, plaid lumberjack shirts, heavy duty canvas work pants and boots. Modeled by old fat guys swilling beer.
You'll fit right in.

More likely to find water to fish in for Maine. I hear there's a good fishing lake near the herf. Heard that they even have a stop sign in town. Two of us C-bidders looking forward to it. I may be able to round up a relative or 2 if non-posters are welcome.

Fresh water fishing about 5 minutes away, salt water about 1 hour away. We have 2 stop signs. And, everyone is welcome, posters or not.

Wish I could make it. Sounds like a good time. Over a 1000 miles by myself? Well I never drove bymyself over 300. I think I'm skeered bymeself. LOL

Serious If I wasn't trying to visit my mom in San Diego, I'd try to make it.

Anywhere from one to four. I wouldn't make any special plans. Our usual weekend there includes a dinner trip to the Happy China Buffet in Bangor, and my tentative plan is to come visit you and then head to Bangor for dinner. I'll update you as soon as I can get any plans from the crew.

Slow cooked brisket on Friday, lobster on Saturday, leftovers on Sunday. You and the crew will be welcome anytime.

Same here. I just can't overcome the logistical hurdle of getting up there and back while my wife is asleep from working her 12 hour night shift.

Hope you all have a great time. I will light up one of the cigars that I got from mandobro on the newb trade awhile ago. Yeah I still have a few of them. I'm a whoreder what can I say. Haha
