What is the best buy you've made here at CB?

a 1937 chev, cherry, new paint, all original. shipping charges were high, i should have bought the 1940 ford also. shipping on the second car would have been dirt cheap.

My best buy on CB was a box of Montecristo CDA's for 48 bucks and a Xikar2 cutter for 19 in the same day. I went in to my old cigar store to look around and the guy that owns the place thought I died or moved away. See the impact CB has! I'm doing my part to get the economy moving in the positive direction and I encourage my fellow CB'ers to do the same. I've been buying here on a regular basis and always will!

My best buy used to be the 4 Pack Sampler that they always used to have. 1 Cupido Criollo Campana, 1 CAO Gold Corona, 1 Felipe Gregorio Black Suntuoso and 1 Diesel Crude. The first two are great smokes right out of the box, and the second two are pretty good after a couple months of humidor time. I used to get this sampler for 3 dollars on a regular basis. Then everyone else realized that it was all good, and they started going for 7 dollars. Sigh. It was good while it lasted.

My best winnning bid so far -- a couple of months ago -- has been a 5-pack of La Flor Dominicana Paso Finas for $13. I can't find them anywhere, and another lot hasn't come up in while. I know because I check in every day just to see what Rick is up to. My worst winning bid was a box of Legion Churchills...gee I wish I could forget about that.

So far it's been the Fonseca vintage collection for $9.00. I love this one and usually pay $22.00 retail.

uhhhh...Bolivar Fuerte Delmonicos 5-pack for $13 and a box of The Cigar by Perdomo churchills (40) for $81...probably a few more but those stand out right now...nobody can touch CB for pricing (unless someone with deep pockets throws money around because they just want what they want). Know your limits and you can usually get what you want for under retail; and remember, most all of these bids come around again and again; be patient; by a lot to save on shipping..."No, honey, that credit card bill has to be wrong...I didn't buy that many cigars!!!"

Some time back I got two bundles of Indian Tabac 'Mistakes' for $18.00 each. Seems that bidders here have discovered how good they are because the bidding is now up around the $29.95 they sell for at the CI website.

Two sides to one business. You can't get your CI purchase shipped together with your CB lots.

Sorry, everybody. Normally I am an unselfish guy. But I have tried to post to this thread 3 times, and every time I click on Return to the forum without posting because I cannot bear the thought of having to pay more than $5 a 5-pak for those yummy

My best win was a box of... um... something really good, I was sure, and my winning bid was negative $500, so CBID was gonna pay me to take the box!

Then I sobered up, my vision got less blurry, and I realized the "minus sign" was just a speck of dust on the monitor and the cigars were actually Victor Sinclair SFFSR (Short-Filler Floor-Sweepings Reserve) that I'd paid $500 for.

DAMN YOU, ALCOHOL! DAMN YOU TO HELL!

Just recently won a box of (10) Oliva Melanio Maduro Torpedo's for $58. I think that is a steal, my local B$M charges $12.00, I think, for the same stick.
