Copied from the what you smokin azzhats... it was going to get buried.

43708 - LFD Andalusian Bull

I know a couple people were interested in my thoughts on this one.

The thing was kinda beastly at the start, it was pretty damn strong and peppery. Definitely had that great LFD kick to it.

After I smoked it down a little and the ring gauge got a little more sane, it settled down into a more medium body... kind of teeter tottering between strengths... medium to medium full. There was a couple spots where I thought it went a little south of medium.

Going into the tail end of the smoke, it started to pick up serious strength again. It was actually a bit too harsh at the end IMO, which leads me to believe these might need a little rest on them.

It was pretty complex overall in a sense that the flavors tended vary slightly throughout the cigar all while keeping that LFD character throughout.

I thought it was a pretty damn good cigar, just think they need a little time on them. I might have to get me a box and tuck them a way for while.

The biggest drawback for the cigar was it was friggin huge. I watched 2 and a half shows, and I ended up tossing it with about an inch and a half or so left. If it had more time on it, I probably would have finished it off, but it was just a bit much on the final push.

Boy, am I pissed at you! Took a break from the Cubans to try something you said I'd been missing out on. You suggested Pardon, LDF, Fuente, etc. Well, I used to smoke all these several years back and I decided to smoke the LDF DL 700. Wrong...while very tasty, my head detached from my shoulders, spun around several times and settled back down in a puff of smoke. I finally went to sleep some time in the early morning hours.

What a way to start the work week! Thanks a lot, Brother! J/K

Very well said, that was exactly my thoughts after smoking the Bull. Can't say I wouldn't have another, but some rest couldn't hurt.
