Got a couple custom hand rolled gems in a bet from abjd.

Robusto. 5x52ish Paired with a Hopslam, and then a Jacki o's Mystic mama. 58 degrees and 68%humidity on a springlike night in Ohio.

Colorado colored wrapper, lumpy and veiny as heck, looks like wrapper ran out and some binder is exposed

but... smells wonderful, graham crackers and earth. pre draw is open but not overly so little spice on the nose but more of the same as the smell.

Lit with a blowtorch cause... well I ran outta butane
first couple puffs have a creamy bitter pepper happening, dry finish pretty solid start .

Light to medium body with more graham crackers and butter/nuttiness in the first third. draw is very good burn is ok with a touch up needed here or there, which is tough because, well, I ran outta butane. No construction issues as far as wrapper/exposed binder. Was only about 1/4 inch anyway, call it a shagfoot?

2nd 3rd. ash held for a good inch before I knocked it off didn't feel like wearing it. graham crackers and peppery cedar. Body growing to a solid medium burn has settled down as well, little wavy but nothing requiring a touch up.
still very dry on the finish with a touch of bitterness, but, not in a bad way.

Final 3rd. Flavors stayed pretty much the same but intensified. bitterness grew a bit but not to unpleasant levels. burn was good, body built a touch into a medium plus. Really reminded me of a fresh Johnny o, which by experience would tell me that the bitterness would fade or disappear over the course of a year or so nap.

Synopsis: Really enjoyable smoke, could benefit from a nap for sure but was really tasty as is. (disclaimer, this was rott from today) burned pretty quickly for the size (about 55 minutes). S,oked down to about 3/4 of an inch.

Dude, if you could keep this flavor profile and add a bid of nic kick, while prettying up your rolling, I would pay a premium for this one. Well done and thank you for the chance to try it out.

I am going to let the larger (toro or so) smoke sleep for a few months before smoking it and I will review it as well.

Awesome glad you enjoyed it. I have only made a few batches so far. I haven't bought good enough wrapper leaf yet. Each time it comes with some thick veins which I don't have the patience to pull out while wrapping. It's definitely not pretty but I have enjoyed it myself.
