I will be in Vegas over the weekend. Are there any cigar shops that are a must to visit? I realize that the prices will be outragous but I also realize that the enviornment is part of the price you pay for any cigar bought in a retail establishment.

Any recommendations would be most appreciated.

I have been to most of the cigars shops on the strip. The ones that I think are worth visiting are at Ballys,Monte Carlo, and Mandalay Bay(although its a bit pricey). The shop at Caesars is somewhat limited in their selection...Anyway,Enjoy!:)

i agree with the above shops but if you are downtown, there is a kiosk on FREEMONT STREET. he should be right outside the Golden Nugget. sell a limited but good selection, cuts and lights for you. bought a Monte No 2 and smoked it while watching the light show.(a must see all 2 shows-jets,rodeo. ps margaritas are only $.99 at the Nugget and you can drink them on the street.

I like the Las Vegas Cigar Company across the street from the Monte Carlo. They have their own that they roll that aren't bad. And the people were fun.

I checked it out....there were a lot of big sticks and humidors ;-)....figuritively speaking.

For the record BC is a friend of mine....he's really not a loser....he just has a warped sense of humor.

I apologize for the TYPO. My intent was not to mislead anyone and send them to a wed site with cigars made of skin. Though my warpped sence of humor finds this moderatly funny. The address should read freyboy.com NOT freeboy.

I would suggest a stop by the Casa Fuente in the Forum Shops. Good mojitos and cigars. Even if it is in a "mall".

Spent a nice couple hours at Casa Fuente on Saturday. Smoked an Opus #4 as my wife and I worked our way through a pitcher of white Sangria. The Hemingway cocktail was mighty tasty too. The tangerine mojito didn't suck either.

It was the day after my nephew's 21st birthday. His mom (my sister in law) took him to vegas for his birthday and invited my wife and I to go with. We ended up stopping at Casa Fuente for a drink and smoke. The nephew had smoked his first cigar the day before (Fuente Hemingway Short Story) and decided he liked them. He enjoyed (greatly) an Opus #5 with his Hemingway cocktail, and picked up a Casa Fuente smoke for later.

I picked up an Anejo Shark and an Opus Shark to bring home.

One thing for sure, Casa Fuente is a *always* on my list of places to go when I travel to LV. Prices are a tad on the high side but the lovely waitresses are almost worth the visit. I've never had a Hemingway cocktail but will definitely try one next time. Herfing

Casa Fuentes cigars are not overly priced when you consider your in Vegas, and you can only get their cigars at the shop. They do not sell them anywhere else.
Another cigar lounge I hang out at is downtown in the 4 Queens upstairs in the corner next to Chicago Pizza.
