Seems some bidders are becoming increasingly frustrated over the prices being bid & paid for cigars. Those most frustrated are not having success (notice my sensitivity in not labeling them losers!) I win some and I lose some too. The point is, I find on-line bidding quite convenient. My favorite cigar shops in the San Francisco Bay area keep hours like my bank & the post office ... not particularly convenient for me. Cigar Bid on the other hand is always OPEN. I don't have to drive, park, produce a credit card, deal with a clerk and most satisfying, pay .0825 sales tax!! I am even amazed that the postal service manages to deliver my cigars promptly and free of damage. Does it get any better than this?

for you to be loyal to a tobacconist in San Francisco is saying something, for thanks to Rob Reiner, the tax in California is completely oppressive, and I feel bad for all the independant cigar shops that are going under because of it. Hell if you live in California, you could be a monkey throwing a dart and find better prices on the internet about anywhere you look. My wife's family lives in Northern California, and when she gets homesick she goes on about moving back, well personally California is late last state in the union I would want to live, and not just because of cigar taxes, I mean what's the deal with this fat person's law in San Francisco? If I were a company I would close up and move out of there, only if to avoid discrimination lawsuits at every turn of a page.
