How many cigars make a good day? How many humidors should you have? How many cigars should you have on hand? What is the advantage of some farily good (at least not lousy) cigars for less than a dollar? All responses welcomed. We have much to learn from each other.

THe question of How Many make a good day is entirely personal, but you should always keep a good sized stash in order to allow proper aging. If you keep less than a box at a time, and smoke even as few as 2 a week, most of the smokes will age for less than two months. As for Half Decent Cheapos, however, their merit is a matter of simple economics. If you have a buddy who really doesn't appreciate a good cigar, do you offer him an Opus X or a Padron Aniv? Certainly not. But to offer a real dog rocket would be unkind and not in the spirit that cigar smokers have always upheld. In fact, my love of fine cigars started with a decent handmade, not a white owl at a poker game. Also, if you're in the mood for a smoke, but have little time or can't sit back to enjoy the true nuances, a less expensive tasty stick like a 5 vegas is a good thing to have.

3, 3(two for singles one for boxes), 500+, and lastly, answering a question with a question: Can it really cost 1500 times more to make a Padron Millenium than to make a Mayorga?

As many as you can smoke with and not be rushed. If I'm rushed I can't even enjoy one stick. You need as many humidors as it takes to keep the stash fresh. And you can never have a large enough collection. There is always one more box, bundle or stick you have to have. Always keep those less expensive sticks in the effort to increase the population of cigar smokers.

3, any more is just being greedy. 3 humidors is plenty for all my needs (of course until I build that walk-in humidor). I'd like around 3-400 at all times, although most times I don't have that many. I would rather smoke one really great cigar than smoke three only so-so ones......Brent

Two or so per day. 0ne box large enough to hold all smokes (maybe a small box for the desk at work). More that 1000 (never know when you moght get snowed in). Make good hand outs, a great way to score point without give out rover rockets

Yes, but still
1 cigar for a good day. More for a better one
Humidor # depends entirely on size, so hard to say
Cigars on hand should be slightly pushing the boundaries of your storage capacity. Makes you feel alive
Fairly good cigars for under $1? This question does not compute

I’m smoking a Brazilian cream. It’s my 3rd of the day. The cream cigars are respectable for 2$ think that’s what I paid for them. Mix fill. Drinking beer so subtle nuances and the like are not important. At this point I’d be chasing trying to burn a good smoke. Drinking a Victoria beer. It’s Mexican beer.
