I have no problem with ballplayers salaries. Let them get what the market will bear. Either they get it or the owners do...... But if they are making that kind of money and signing a contract, they should at least have the descencey to honor it. Otherwise why sign it? I doubt that they would be willing to renegotiate for less in the middle of a contract if they were underpreforming.

Something we can agree on! I do believe for the sake of the game, they need a salary cap put in place in baseball, but once they sign the dotted line, they should perform (something Sheffield claims he will not do to the best of his ability) or be willing to take less for less of a performance. We need a Sports Board to kick around the sports subjects.

What about Frank Thomas? He wasn't in such a big hurry to give money back 2 years ago when he stunk up the field. Maybe they should do like football and get rid of the guaranteed contracts. Speaking of football ...How many of you have tuned in to the XFL? How do you say SUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKK!!!!!
