Well this one can encompass racisim, political and ethnic feelings-let alone one of the most highly sought after events in Sportsworld-The Masters! Will Tiger win today? I think this will be a shootout to rival the old Palmer vs Nicklaus matches. The argument over the Grand Slam or Tiger Slam will rage on if Tiger wins! Just the fact that he has won the last three consecutive majors plus the Tounament Players Championship and then to add the Masters for 4 majors in row plus TPC is an accomplishment that could only be topped by winning the Grand Slam in the same year! I would like to see Michelson or DiMarco win today, and I know that Tiger is the greatest golfer of our times and probably of all time but at his age what would be left to accomplish in golf!?!?! This should prove to be a great day in golf lore and history. I was always a Payne Stewart fan and still think the Michelson vs Stewart match up on final day at Pinehurst was one of the greatest duels I have ever seen.........maybe this one can live up to that standard and maybe Payne will be watching and smiling from above! Well, it was down to the wire but my man Tiger did his thing! I'm so happy I could lite up that Montecristo A I've got that's getting a little age on it. On second thought....Tiger epitomises the game of golf. He's humble, sincere and a hell of an athlete. He is a symbol that we all could learn something from. I'd rather my son look up to someone like him than alot of these bozo's who pawn themselves off as athlete's (you can fill in the blanks here folks). It was very close for Duval and Michelson but the best man won out. BTW, Tiger Woods is the FIRST golfer to win 5 majors in the same year. That's some accomplishment......Brent

Payne Stewart, what an awesome golfer, an effortless, graceful swing and a great guy! He was my favorite, followed by John Daly (hey, he's bound to recover sometime, let's hope he kicks the habit or at least gets it under control), and Ernie Els. I used to hate Tiger Woods because he was so cocky and played stupidly (ie taking unnecessary risks that wouldn't and didn't pay off) when he started becoming popular. You have to admire a man who takes his lifelong swing, which won him his first Masters, and completely reworks it into something new and more effective. I'm really happy for him and I daresay he's the best golfer to ever step foot on any golf course (including Walter Hagen, Bobby Jones, Byron Nelson, Sam Snead, Jack Nicklaus, Ben Hogan, Arnold Palmer and Payne Stewart [who didn't get a chance to prove his worth]). Furthermore, he pushed the envelope for ALL other golfers. How often did you see players under par by double digits BEFORE Tiger came along?
