What cigars do you think Michael Jordan smokes? I mean, money ain't an issue, and he has time on his hands. Does he smoke one cigar most of the time, or does he mix it up? What about other rich and famous smokers. How about Arnold? Does Belushi and Norris really smoke their Lone Wolf? I'm kinda curious and don't want to waste money on Vogue, I mean Cigar Afficianado.

george burns smoked el producto queens they were a prop, and they stayed lit and put out a lot of smoke.
milton berle said he would smoke any cigar that fit in his holder. he also said that he wouldn't spend $10.00 on a cigar unless he could make love to it first. i have edited for this forum.

I've heard Rush Limbaugh say he prefers full-bodied cigars and, even though he probably makes more than most of us, he watches the budget and smokes more expensive cigars on special occasions. I believe he prefers Padrons and La Gloria Cubanas, usually maduros.

FYI: in the famous photo of MJ with a cigar in his mouth and a bottle of champagne in his hands (shaking them up) just after one of the Bulls Championships, you can tell that he is smoking a Hoyo De Monterrey (ISOM) (Esplendido size-Unk which one)...Kind of cool.

Rick ... I read an article awhile back about George Burns. The cigars he smoked weren't props ... the article stated that he smoked ten cigars a day! He also had several drinks each and every day also ...

Groucho Marx never had a lit cigar in his mouth on television, but his off-screen cigars were always lit...He once said that there's an advantage to having a cigar in your mouth because if you are trying to think of an answer or a funny thing to say, you can puff on the cigar until you think of something...He also said once on What's My Line or You Bet Your Life (one of those old shows he hosted) in response to a couple that had a lot of kids (I think it was six or seven kids) and told Groucho that they love their kids, "Lady, I love my cigar too, but I take it out of my mouth once in a while"...Too funny!

Arnold smokes all kinds of cigars, mostly robustos and Toros! They are not a prop with him, as James Caan said Arnold got him seriously started on cigars while filming Eraser! George Burns was loyal to El Producto and smoked those things all day long! Ugh! I think I would have found another make to smoke! Charlie

If I remember correctly, in his CA interview, Stallone spoke quite a bit about Opus X. His everyday smoke? Probably.

This is fun, proving that we all read Vouge errr "cigar Aficionado".....Michael Douglas likes several including Montecristo #2, James Woods likes Montecristo #2's and Cohibas, the list could go on and on, but I think it proves one thing.......you smoke what you can afford! Charlie

I would have to say the man that epitomizes the cigar is my main man Sir Winston Churchill. It is well documented he smoked 8-10 cigars a DAY! He never traveled without his favorite ashtray (some little budda jobber), and prefered Cubans by far. He was given cigars by every major political force in the world. I suppose if I had free access to ANY cigar in the world it would take the fun out of hunting for that 'hard to get' puro. I myself can remember every Cuban I ever smoked and where I smoked it. Each experience was different from the last. I can see Churchill now, on safari in Africa, a Punch Punch ISOM in hand watching the sun slowly set over the horizon......oh to dream.......Brent

There have been many famous men throughout history who smoked cigars of which Sir Winston was probably the most famous! Teddy Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, George S. Patton to name a few! I enjoy the story about JFK asking about the supply of ISOM H Upmann's before the embargo was imposed on Cuba! He had his staff round up all the cigars they could in order to have a good supply after the embargo was placed in effect! Even Bill Clinton still enjoys "smoking" a cigar! Charlie

re george burns: yes he smoked 10 or more per day but what i meant by props was he would use them as timing for his jokes. he would pause, take a puff, and deliver a line when he had his audience attentive and waiting. try one of his cigars, they are just smoke with a hint of tobacco taste.

mark twain said "i smoke in moderation, only one cigar at a time." and remember kipling who would not marry some long forgotten lady who objected to cigars, "a woman is only a woman, but a good cigar is a smoke."

Women and cigars, a match made in heaven... You can smoke the cigar while the little woman fetches another drink! (ps, don't tell my wife I said that....)

Somewhat off topic but close enough: Winston Churchill was drunk at a party one night which upset his proper english hostess who told him "Sir, if I were your wife I would poison your tea!" His reply, "Madam, if YOU were my wife, I would drink it."
Another time when he was similarly drunk at a party a horrified lady told him, "Sir, you are drunk!" His reply, "Yes, and you are extremely ugly, but in the morning I will be sober."
A great man, without question.

During the Last Dance documentary there was a shot of MJ getting out of his Ferrari smoking a bigass Kooban. Maybe Cohiba? I don't recall specifically
