It's a Columbia windbreaker. Made in Taiwan (over in my runnin' grounds), but sadly believed by most Americans to be "American." Tee hee hee.

I never noticed the shoes, all I noticed was that girl has one eye pointing east and the other pointing west.

the shoes are Prada driving shoes. The eyes just look lopsided.....either that or I knocked them silly. I'm crazy like that.

Man oh man....there is nothing wrong with this girls eyes...it's just the way the photo makes her look. She was gorgeous.

Not every woman in the world looks like the "oink" of the day and all of these fake airbrushed photos that get posted on this site and others constantly.

What's the difference between this girl and one of the "oinks?" She's real.

...I wore those shoes yesterday as a matter of fact. First time in about 3 months. I wore them to a wine tasting in Ginza. I was hit on and picked up by a Television Newscaster from CNN Japan. What a gal. She liked my Prada shoes, they matched her green Prada thong she was wearing. Tonight I'll watch her on the news and remember how cute she looked tossing her hair all to and fro......

Life is good for Adroomi.

I see no problem with the footwear, but I DO see something else .... the not-so-funny thing about this post is that a year later, adroomi's comments about some of the "newer" players turning it into a crappy place to visit are more relevant than they were when he first posted them ...

This WAS a GREAT board for a few years, but sadly, it has devlolved into something almost unrecognizeable ...

There are a LOT of quality contributors who have left because the atmosphere has diminished so greatly and more are leaving all the time and a lot of others who contribute far less often ...

Steve,
You're exactly right. I gave up yesterday on this board (again), and will probably take a few months off as I have in the past.

The fun comments, decent conversation, and relaxed atmosphere of this board has turned into nothing more than a group of kids throwing rude comments back and forth. For every kind word on this board I see, there are 20 rude ones. Wanyburger up above is a perfect example. By the way Wany, that shirt is a Jhane Barnes White Label, and will set you back about $350 at Saks or Neiman Marcus. I like nice clothes and I can also afford them so get off my back would you?

Anyway Steve, this board is going down the tubes. It's a sad thing.

Your a lot more fashon savy than I am, Adroomi. I hate to see ya take a few months away... I realized in the last 2 days that it is much more meaningfull to not argue with you but instead get to know you and enjoy a new friend who looks at things differently than I do. It adds something to me, and you do add something to the boards.

Are you ever near Panama City, FL. Adroomi?

I'm not fashion saavy Country.....it just goes with the territory. I think you know what I mean. I made that comment before. People just don't get it. I live and work in Tokyo (the most expensive city in the world, and one where people are expected to dress appropriately.). Blue jeans and a t-shirt simply don't cut it here except on weekends while you're out hiking or something. People wear suits to work, and men wear a tie when they go to dinner. "Casual" means slacks and a button down shirt, and most bars won't let you in the door without such. It's no different than say for example, Manhattan or somewhere like that. Yesterday I took that day off and went for a walk....I was in jeans, hiking boots, and a flannel shirt. Today I'll be in a shirt and tie. Tonight for drinks, probably in casual wear again. It's all about where you are. Unfortunately, some folks just can't seem to get it through their heads that a nice pair of driving shoes and a button down shirt "look" nice, and actually make them appear a bit "classier" than the average joe. Our (American's) culture however has evolved us into a group that only knows one style, and that is jeans and a t-shirt (plus baseball hat). We see anyone else that is wearing something different as an outcast and throw names at them and ridicule them for it. What can I say....I'm an outcast.

I have tried to bring some intellectual conversation into the room, and unfortunately it backfired. I only stirred up more hatred for outsiders and self love for ourselves. That's a shame. I should've known better.

It was interesting discussing some things with you however....once we were able to get past our own prejudice, we figured out that sometimes stimulating meaningful discussion actually is possible on a forum board. Unfortunately most of this board has turned into nothing more than I would expect to find on a board by "Maxim" or "Malboro." One would think that cigar smokers would have a bit more class, but I don't see it (I'll get flamed for that comment).

I'll be around. Oh, and I don't get to FL too often, but you never know.

I just read over our blast thread and it was embarrasing to say the least. It's easy to be so much on the defence around here that you don't enjoy yourself.

Take Ryan for instance... about 2 months ago, I was rude as I could be to him. Very much undeserving and I was wrong... I chilled out and now rather enjoy what he brings to the boards (lot's of good pictures of Scotch and Whiskey)...

I guess my point is what good is a hobby like cigars if all it is to you is something that you get pissed off at people about. Some people just need to chill and enjoy the hobby that they have taken up.

What do you know about Japanese Sakes, Adroomi. I'm interested in trying some. A guy on the trade forum is offering it up.

Adroomi,

We've never talked, or sparred, but it seems a little silly to ditch the boards because some guys are tired of your agenda. I will miss your posts.

I understand your points of view, and I agree with many of your opinions, but you must expect a little resistance and hostility when you start to attack , right or not, something as personal as our sense of country.

It seems to me that you have stirred the pot and are upset that instead of well spoken factual debate, you have inspired emotionally driven defensive responses. What did you expect??

I live in Southwestern PA, a primarily democratic region with a union legacy that is driving business from the area. I was brought up in a differently, and I used to like to run my mouth against the local attitudes. "used to" because I haven't been able to influence or change folks who have been brought up with an entirely different set of values.

Oh well...........I'll miss you.......and I think your shoes are OK.

Dude I have sparred with you plenty of times but the reason I do is because your comments are (quite a bit of the time anyway) easily seen as anti-American. You piss on everything anyone says that goes against your political agenda as if they are idiots. How the hell do you expect people to react? Send you F-ing roses and chocolate. By the way, nice shoes and I do mean that in an Eddie Haskel kind of way!

androomi-

here ya go. feel free to bash. im a big boy-you don't offend me. and i don't let others decide for me how i should feel about others.

while you seem to have a gruff exterior, i'm sure if we ever met we would get along. of course, i am giving you the benefit of doubt... hell, we might even become buddies. i rag on you because you can be an easy target sometimes- not just because im such an ahole(which i am), but that shirt...lol

don't take me too serious. i am after all the joker of the pack. also, try not to take yourself too seriously either.

while you were here years before me, i doubt you were the first. stick around and more will show up.

by the way, 40 is a few months away.

so maybe one day we'll be face to face and we'll look at each other and laugh. i might even buy you a beer...

Nine,
Well, it's good to see you are a normal, decent dude.

I got a little high strung on you, because I found your comments that pretty much tore my entire wardrobe apart a bit offensive. Not because they were, but simply because I found them quite typical and presumed they were being made by your basic, typical guy who's entire wardrobe consists of t-shirts, baseball hats, and jeans.

I prefer to wear designer shirts, and I just so happened to be wearing a pair of driving shoes that night.

I live in a country and belong to a mindset in which it's still considered "normal" for a man to put on a dress shirt and slacks when he leaves the house, and for a woman to wear a skirt and nice shoes.

I don't subscribe to jeans and a t-shirt as proper evening wear.

Anyway....I'm glad to hear your opinion.

Take care.

hey droom-

its all good. you don't have to like the way i dress to be my friend. i wear a tie (BY CHOICE) 5 days outta the week. all my buddies at work hate it because they don't wear one! i just like the tie & suspenders look. my users seem to love it.

i don't wear designer clothes because i am a sloppy fashionless sloth. i do have some nice russel athletic tshirts, and "silvertab" levis. i also have a clean pair of nikes i wear when i feel like gettin' dressed up!

hey- i stopped wearing those muscle pants! what more do you want???

Those shoes look familiar; I think my ex-wife sold them on eBay a few years back. I think hers were bigger though.

His "date" also had a cigar. Here, for your enjoyment, is that review.

The wrapper was bit overblown and the band made it look like a comic cigar. The middle was a lot wider than the cap or foot.

Fairly easy to light, but with a very uneven burn. Flared up when you least expected it and had a bitter aftertaste. It also had a heavy fragrance that was overpowering. Luckily, there was a lot of liquor handy to wash it down.

The cigar was small to begin with, but I had hoped for a stronger and longer-lasting finish. I felt as if I had lit it and was at the finish before I got to enjoy any part of the smoke.
The ash dropped frequently and had no body to it.

All in all, a disappointment. I am glad it was free because I'd be upset if I had paid for it. Not one I'd buy anytime unless I got a lot of freebies with it.

I'd give it a DC rating of 40 out of 100. I'm being generous here.

Gee, I don't think she like her cigar much at all. maybe she needs to switch brands? She should have kept the cello on this one for sure.

Brought to you by the sarcasm society,
Suzi
