After dinner I like to have a cigar. My problem is this. I have so many cigars, it takes forever to pick one. My wife laughs at me as I go from one humidor to the next. Trying to find the perfect stick. It may take me 20 minutes to make a decision. Does anyone else have this problem?

Yeah thats me too.Ever since I fired up my Fridge-a-dor,I moved two 54 qt. coolers and four desktops into a fridge with a Temp control that I got from a brewer's supply site.Very nice set up really. When I read this,I counted 23 box's + the four desktops with 35-50 cigars each, one 2 Gallon Tupperdor with say 75 gars and one 1 gallon Tupperdor with say 40-50 gars.Anyway to answer your question yes my Girlfriend has busted me many times sitting in front of my Fridge forever searching for the perfect cigar, she's really started to worry though, when I started talking to them("Jim who are you talking too")ah,er,ah,I,oh nobody hon.LOL.Oh BTW it smells Wonderful.:0)

I have 7 humidors (full to the top), two large tupperdor's, several large jars, zip-lock bags beyond count ... about 750 cigars in all at my last count several months ago ... and they just keep coming in from various trades, purchases and 'gifts' from people. It drives me crazy sometimes trying to figure out what to smoke. I just spent a half a day on Saturday last week trying to arrange them in some kind of order, and to see what was in my invenory. Of course, I found sticks that I have been wanting to try that I didn't even know I had ...

desk drawers full 3 humidors full, full size road warrior full, plastic bags full, filing cabinet full, caR stash full, home humidor really full. Just bid on a whole bunch more cigars. I need to win the big humidor(el rey). If you have any love in your heart don't out-bid me. As for what to smoke? Just smoke alot more cigars you've got run out eventually...don't you?

the el ray is an excellent humidor. but, make your own humidifier, the two in there are too small and calibrate the hygrometer.

Wow...You guys are unbelievable!...I currently have one El Presidente Humidor with approx 40 to 50 sticks inside, and another cheaper humidor with about 15 or so other sticks.

You guys are all sick and addicted to the bid boards! I "only" have two humidors (total capacity of 200 cigars) and some tupperware containers and lots of zip locks. But like I said, you guys are all sick! Not me! Charlie

Jack, I'm in your boat :) only difference is that the future missus finds it annoying that it takes me 30 minutes to get out the door when I'm choosing a cigar :) LMAO! I thought I was the only one.

LMAO @ Heg...Just this Saturday night when the missus and I were going to the 95th floor of the John Hancock building for dinner (anniversary), I was looking for a cigar and it was taking me a while...She says "Why are you bringing a cigar if they don't allow cigar smoking?"...My response was that even though I PROBABLY won't be able to smoke, I always like to have one with me at all times JUST IN CASE I do have the opportunity...Anyone else do the same?....Keith

i always have 2 or 3 cigars with me at all times. if they prohibit smoking my cigar, i leave. in calif, we have food delivered. cigar smoking is permited in my house. there are a few decent small restaurants that have built closed outside patio rooms for smokers. ALL SMOKERS.

I'm the same way. You can't smoke it if you haven't got it so I always have a couple handy. My wife teases me about taking 1/2 of my stash when we travel. But you know that what ever you don't bring with you is what you'll want to smoke.

I have given up on humidors. They are a pain in the neck to browse through each time you want to enjoy a certain smoke. I have, instead, hermetically sealed my entire house. I regulate the humidity with carefully selected tropical plants and waterfalls. I am currently in the process of installing revolving doors to eliminate the problem of outside temperature fluctuations when I come and go. This way, no matter where I put my cigars they are aging properly. All this, and I still am not allowed to smoke indoors. What ever happened to being King of your own castle?
