Whoops, finger "twitched" sorry for the mistake, but Juan Raul Garza was executed this morning for murdering 3 people and ordering the deaths of 5 more! Let's hear from the whinning, bleeding heart liberals about how he could have been made into a useful individual through rehabilitation, etc!!!! Charlie

I do not make any of those suggestions, but he should not have been killed by the government.

i agree with unclebill that government murder serves no purpose. garza is scum and should never be allowed to walk the streets. this need for revenge by killing the killer is worse than the killer himself. we are as a nation still stoning the bad ones to death, we have just modernized the stoning.

Let's face it. Prison life ain't so tough. Once you get past the rapings, it's simply a room and three squares a day. Big deal. The death penalty may not deter crime, but it certainly prevents a repeat performance. And until we make jail time = hard time I am 100% in favor of it. Once we ignore the Bleeding Heart Liberals and allow prison filth to rot in their own waste unless they obey strict rules, then we need it. Why do they have TV's in prison? Did the victims get that choice? This is NOT about revenge. Thats Liberal BS. It's about FAIRNESS. These people have no regards for human life, so what's the harm in taking theirs? God forbid they repeat their crime should they escape or get paroled on some Liberal Loophole. They don't deserve to live, and to say that they do is shortsighted and naive.

I've said it before...if you don't want to put these two legged carnivores to death, use them for medical experimentation. At least law abidding citizenry would get something out of their otherwise useless, non producing anti-societal lives. Thankyouverymuch.

Shooter, I agree with you on the Medical Experimenation, of course the Left will start saying "Hitler did that!" But, we could pay them 20 cents an hour or a flat rate and it would save a lot of animals (cats, dogs, etc) and that would make PETA and ASPCA happy! Just joking, but it is a thought! Charlie

I disagree with medical experimentation, but I do think that the penal system needs to be reformed. It should be about rehabilitation for those that will be released, in order to decrease the number of repeat offenders. It should also be, for ALL, a work system. There is no reason that the penal system should be such a drain on the local economies that support them, when most of the prisoners are able bodied workers. That way they could at least pay for their own incarceration, and maybe even pay that debt back to society and learn how to do a days work.

They learn how to stamp out license plates quite well...(all joking aside for a minute) The Arizona Penal system has a telemarketing group of women prisoners that are quite good. Now, I am beginning to sound "liberal" Oh help me!!!! Charlie
