What has transpired with this whole ordeal is typical of what is wrong with politics in general. Forget Democrat or Republican. Let's look at moral fortitude and the acceptance by the American public to ignore it. Gary Condit is a cheat and therefore probably a bad husband, but that doesn't concern me. What concerns me is his complete lack of moral fiber when the chips fall. One of his interns turned up missing many weeks ago and he may have been able to help the investigation, but he chose to lay low hoping it would not affect his political future. A life is at stake, but he chose self serving motives. Now this missing whore-bag may never be found due to his silence.
