Corey Stringer of the MN Vikings died today from heat exhaustion. I am a fan of NFL football, but being from New England I know very little about this man since the offensive line is usually a thankless position. But I do know this: Mr. Stringer died while doing what every fan wants of his team, and that is to give everything you have. He was not a quitter, but instead drove his body beyond its' capabilities. My heart goes out to his family and the Viking organization. God Bless.

I am surprised we don't lose more of these NFL guys due to the two a days and the insistence of some Coaches that they work out in full pads! It was indeed a stupid loss and one that will probably cause some reform in the NFL. Football should not be played in that kind of heat in early August! RIP Corey Stringer.....may your loss bring some change! Charlie

Sad to see someone in his prime go down like that, he was giving his all when he should have listened to his body... not worry about what his coaches and peers think if he sits out a few drills. RIP Korey...

As a long time fan of the Vikes...Korey's death really hurts. But I also know that while his death was senseless and avoidable...Korey always gave 110% and treated every practice and drill if it was the final play of the most important game of his life. He played H.S. College and pro on the only level he knew..all out. His death is not just a loss on the field...but in the hearts of all the children that he helped through his charity work. R.I.P. Korey
