Unclebill, why don't you get a new stick to bash with? After your leader, Bill C, I cannot believe that you would question the integrity of GWB! Go find a new soapbox to yell from!

charlie: why are you so closed to input that you lash out against anything that might open your eyes to reality?

The only reality for the dems/libs/socs is to have a pervert in charge. That way they can feel good about themselves. With a man with morals they may have to look at themselves God forbid. So they have to lash out . Change is diffecult. Now with a president who knows there's right and wrong. NOT if it feels good do it F*** everyone else. GWB is for America First and personnal responsiblity. Dirty words to Clintonites.

Rick, I am not closed to input as long as it isnt inflated and BS bent numbers that the Democrats and their mouthpieces are so good at to confuse and cloud the issue.. It is just like Tom Daschel and the other idiot Gephardt and their rebuttals, they cannot recognize the truth and they are afraid to encompass the truth, they want to twist and take out of context each and every event or opportunity! bottom line is w is a dummy. don't tell me about he graduated from college. idiot college grads are a dime a dozen. everything this administration has done has been to benifit corporate interests. the "dignity" he is supposed to have brought is of no concern to me, assuming he brought any. family values? a much touted republican phrase, results in nothing negative about clinton and hillary's daughter in spite of the lives the parents lead. if there was any hint of scandal the press would have been all over it. but the resident with deep religious covictions and having overcome his past, raises two daughters who want to drink a lot. how far is your range of informtaion? incidently have you read anything about the "october surprise, oct 18-19, 1980?

RICK, why do you obsess over the Bush Daughters? They are two normal teenage girls living life to the fullest like we all did in college. They were against their fathers bid to become president. They are trying to lead "Normal" teen lives. Chelsea is a nobody without mommy and daddy. She would simply be another homely student. Why do we even need to look at these things? Should we look at Roger Clintons clean life? Bubbas draft dodging? His drug use? His abuse of power? His Sexual harrassment? How about Vince Foster's "suicide? White Water? The list is endless. Don't get into a battle of morals comparing these two. It's apples and oranges. If you insist on calling him "dumb" because you can't come up with anything else of any validity so be it. I'll take a dumb GW over a smart Clinton/Gore ANYDAY.

Uncle, does it REALLY surprise you to see an increase in profitablity during a time of increasing prices due to an energy crisis? If you do, then perhaps you should take Economics 101. More demand = higher prices if supply is not increased. Higher prices = more profits at equal sales volume. This is simple stuff. Of course, you may still be looking up the definition of "sexual relations".

Hey Liberals, the Major Corps and the OPEC group has long practiced supply and demand or "blackmail" if you will! It is a tried and true principal that dates back to the cavemen except maybe they were dealing with stones, weapons, and who would get the one woman available! While this practice has taken place regardless of which party is in office, you liberals seem to like to point fingers and make senseless accusations when the Republicans are in the Oval Office! The Supply and Demand and storage of over abundent supplies has long been practiced throughout the past 50 years and now all of a sudden it is GWB and the "evil" Cheney causing this problem? Find something else to whine about! Charlie

Gentlemen, instead of resorting to "do not bash my guy" why don't you deal with issue as written. If you can take apart the numbers, do so. Clinton is a dead issue, he is gone. Bush is the guy now and this should be about is this a valid criticism or not, why or why not? Facts or shoot holes in the "facts".

Good point Barry. That's what this forum is all about. I applaud Unclebill for taking the time to point out the obvious. When demand increases and supply does not, the prices increase and profitability will sore. Whether or not those individuals and corporation made donations to Bush's campaign or the Rainbow Coalition is irrelevant. I think we DO need to discuss Clinton, however, because it was under HIS agenda that the utility companies were reluctant to increase supply. It may or may not be his fault, but that's the timing of it. The problem is that when the proverbial **** is hitting the fan, GW is in the direct line of fire.
