Steve you have to admit things have been going well with the younsters around.

The free so and so threads have slowed down, and tentions have eased.

I think they have both proved another chance is in order.

Times are bad and seeing friends sticking together makes these times not seem so bad.

Sorry man. You and I do not see eye to eye on this. The forum is just fine without certain banned members. There is no room for certain negativity. And I will do my best to ensure it stays that way. Fortunately, I have the power of IT at my side. So, their little credit card tricks won't work much longer. We're not dumb over here, fellas ;)

I respect Steve`s position, he has a job to do, He is still a young man too. Sometimes we act according to what we feel is right. If we had a crystal ball to see in the future some of our decisions would be different. Since this is not the case we use our best judgement.

Somehow I feel that he has not met either of you in person as I have. Sometimes we overlook the given and pass judgement by what is written.

We come to the boards to visit our friends, sometimes we post hoping to get a reaction and sometimes to get a laugh, sometimes own words are taken out of context not meaning to cause any harm.

Our personal lives may effect some of our posts at different times, who are we to pass judgement. I have been known to post drunk and say even when not drunk things that others may find offensive. I assume everyone knows me and do not find my posts offensive. This is where the problems begin, not everyone knows us and do not how to deal with some of the posts.

Some of us have a short fuse and react sometimes without thinking of the consequences, how should we deal with this? Hmmm, a warning?, time out? permanent banning?. This would be simple if it was my decision, but its not. Should we assume that all decisions made are correct? Should we just look the other way? Should we protest? What does it take to disagree?

I guess the decision has been made. I for one think its a bit harsh and I also think reconsideration in this matter would be well excepted on the boards.

Aside from the issue of Stever's "age" I agree with everything that our straightshooting brother, WT, so eloquently stated. I don't feel that his age should enter into this. He has certain criteria that he feels is in the best interest of the cbid forum & he upholds it.

IMHO, Erik, Victor, AND the Hog are very good people who are friends to most and deserving of another chance similar to what was graciously extended to me. These bros who march to the beat of a different drummer are bright, funny, great fun to read, and add to the richness of the boards.

Having said that, I promise you, SteveR, that if you should ever reconsider & allow these rambunctious originals back on the boards, your kindness will be rewarded & you will pleasantly surprised.
That is a promise.
