I've come to the conclusion that the World Bank protestors (like the same folks described here) don't really care about anything important, they just want an excuse to complain. My favorite part is that they're clever and they sell their **** to other dumb people. "``Violence does not solve violence.'' . No? Lets see, tell that to the Jews at concentration camps. Tell that to the Kuwaite's, or the Israelis. "Destroy imperialism, not Afghanistan".....thats my favorite. Nothing like a political idiot to start misquoting things. First of all, what they view as imperialism is really just globalization, which is probably the best thing to happen to the 2nd world since **** electricity. Second of all, who said we were going to "destroy" Afghanistan. If the US Military takes the logical route, Afghan will lose their idiotic fundamentalist leadership and be in far better shape. And yes----I am pissed off if you couldn't tell. I can tolerate the liberals right now. We need them around to keep our freedoms nice and cozy. Say what you will about the ACLU, I hate them too, but without them you'd have seen a significant drop in your personal freedoms starting in 1960. I can deal with the hard nosed conservatives, without them our ability to deal with this in a practical fashion would be gone. But the one thing that I *hate* are these anarchist ecconomist wannabe dorks who protest every time we have an idea to continue strenghten the global village.
