Box of fake Cubans that I knew were fake a couple of years back at a duty-free. Flight was delayed for hours and there was a smoking room in the airport. Tried last single cigar the shop had and needed to buy a box to get more cigars, which were decent at 1/3 price of the Cubans they pretended to be, that is, an okay price for those nonCubans. Customs in USA did not care about my receipt, etc. The $140 box of cigars was confiscated as contraband; and, now every trip into USA (3 x a year), I am pulled aside for questioning and I must empty my bags for a thorough check. This is after 27 hours of travel.

My first wedding license. Worst money I ever spent. Money for the divorce lawyer, conversely, was some well-spent dough.

The panini sandwich maker I bought here. SvenR promised to send me a recipe for a panini version of Smörgåstårta, but he sent me meatball recipe instead.

So that explains why that mystery box of PG's landed at my place a while back... Thanks, Ken!!!

I deeply regret buying 5 lots of the Luscious Lutefisk Cigars that were up for bid here a while back. Hints of acrid sulphurous vinegar with just a subtle note of decaying fish and ammonia. So bad I couldn't even send them to Turdblossom. Yeouch!

That would be it.

'95 GMC Jimmy. Worst piece of crap vehicle I've ever owned. To make matter's worse it was eggplant purple. The price was so good I thought I'd get used to the color. Wrong.

God, I hated that thing.....stills makes me nauseous to think of it....

The Napoleon II humidors (I bought two) were a mistake. We have too many humidors to baby one that won't hold the humidity for 48 hours.

Other than that...pretty much ALL the cigars I bought for Jim when he first started back in '03. I happened across a bunch of the receipts and, well, all I can say is I am surprised he can smoke anything now. I remember just going through the choices at the mothership and a few other places and just getting the specials and the "freebies with purchase" and the ones whose names I thought were different, or cute.

Poor Jim. Luckily he has recovered and I am usually a bit better now choosing.

Smoke a good one!

Bundle of carbon copy cohiba. They aren’t even a good cigar. Let alone anything near what a cohiba should be. Couple bundles of mix filers that are just trash. Too many mid grade cigars to name. I’m set for a while. Try to only buy fairly nice cigars now to fill all my stash.

I wasn’t a fan of them but the bulk of the group came from Guam and were quite popular here.

I bought one of the Deadwoods at a B&M without paying attention to who it was made by or what it might be. I regretted it.

Won a bundle of Liga IV Almirantes back in 2013.

Iirc, got them for something like $0.75 each. Clearly overpaid! d'oh!

Pure dog rockets.

Don’t remember exactly but think they were short fill. Sure didn’t hold much of an ash. Inconsistent burn and draw. Stale and musty taste. Smoked most of them while walking the dog but threw them away once we reached home.

Michters Toasted Barrel Rye

Wanted to try it for so long and never pulled the trigger. Did this year and paid a hefty price for it. Took it on the bachelor party, was ok but think it was more of a $60 bottle not 4x that. Kentucky Owl 11 yr rye blows it out of the water imo and was half the price.
