^ I couldn't agree more. Politicians and the media need to stay out of it. Give them the tools to fight and they can win it. This all started with the Korean War.

people like cbc hate rush because he doesn't bow down to the anointed one... lol, every other media outlet, with the exception of FNC, simply dows down and seemingly *forgets* or *misses* the cons to the current admin. Take Van Jones for example, who heard of all the stuff he was involved in prior to his resignation?

Some people are apparently VERY easily amused. Whatever works for your conservative hating mindset dude.

As for Rush, you're going to have to tell me what he says that's always wrong before your blanket condemnation of him will have any merit. I know he's the whipping boy for the extreme left, but for most people he's an insightful guy coming from a conservative perspective, not some complete wacko like you think he is.

I don't hate conservatives - on the contrary, social issues aside, I don't think that there are enough (any) true conservatives anymore, at least in office.

What I hate is fringe lunacy, myopia, and partisan bickering for its own sake.

Finally, Rush Limbaugh is an entertainer with an agenda, in addition to being a drug addict and criminal.

"Ah, the ignorant smear merchant is back. So when the market gapped down about 8% after 9/11 no link could be drawn? When there was a Russian coup in the early 90s and the market broke down, no link could be drawn? When the Enron scandal broke and the market sold off, no link could be drawn? When the Fed unexpectedly cuts interest rates and the market goes up, no link can be drawn? When the unemployment figures released on a Friday morning are way out of line with expecations and the market reacts, no link can be drawn? When we have the single largest percentage market decline the day after a presidential election, no link can be drawn?"

Excluding the trending data in this case makes you a liar, yes.

You are drawing a causal relationship from one where data do not support it. It fits your politics so you report assumption as truth. You see a "direct link" and it does not exist.

That makes you a liar.

You are expressing your opinion that there is no link, with no data to support it, does that make you a liar? In fact you're apparently too ignorant or cowardly to argue the opposite side. And in fact, the market rallied for a 18.78% the week just prior to the election, so what "trending data" I left out are you talking about you liberal hack? If I left out a declining market prior to the election that would make me a liar according to you...what does not mentioning the fact that the market had been trending decisively in the other direction make me? Charitable I guess. When a market makes a historic sized move after a major fundamental event, it's not a "lie" to argue that there is a link. Take your "lie" charge back to your Stock Trading 101 class.

Umm, elected to the US Senate (NO SMALL TASK), backed by the DLC (post Hillary), over 35 y/o, Natural born US Citizen. The first two are enough for me to feel comfortable, the last two are all you need.

Palin = over 35 and US Citizen, CAN be president. Elected Governor of tiny pop State and thinks she's keeping an eye on the Russinas for us, SHOULD NOT be President.

Google: "Sit on it cause you've got 3 more years of this to look forward to, 7 more if you put Plain on the ticket again!"

I like Palin. I like her even more when she is held up as a representative of the Republican party. I LOVE her when she is on the P./V.P. ticket!

natural born citizen? debatable... barney frank was voted in, would you elect him? pilosi? and the pres has been a *community organizer* and spent about 6 months in the senate before running for pres (yes I exagerated). While there, he often didn't feel the need to do his job so just said "I'm here, but I just dont feel like making a decision today... ehh, I'm present" nice record...

Plu-leeze. You go ahead and quote me where I said there was no link. I said there is no causual relationship that you keep pointing to.

No, sir, no trend there. And there certainly isn't any well documented reason for that trend. No, it must have been B. Huessien Obama taking a lead in the polls.

"It’s not a "lie" to argue that there is a link."

You are arguing not a link but a causal relationship (remember typing "But, there are times when a direct link can be drawn, such as the market experiencing its single largest one-day loss after a presidential election"?).

You can't prove your statement, so you call me names. There is no causal relationship.

Debatable? Why? Because he doesn't produce his birth certificate on demand? He's a US Citizen, get over it.

Frank isn't backed by the DLC. Neither is Pelosi.

98.2% of Congress doesn't do much on the floor at all because they are campaigning 24/7 (whether openly and actively or not). This should be no surprise to anyone, and no shocker that he voted "present."

I'll take "community organizer" over "beauty queen" any day of the week dontcha know.

It is your choice and option. Get the backing of the DLC and get elected to the Senate first and I'll probably vote for you.

haon123, two of your previous posts:

128. Author: haon123

"But, there are times when a direct link can be drawn, such as the market experiencing its single largest one-day loss after a presidential election"

And statements like this are what make you a liar.

178. Author: haon123

______________________________________________

You really are a mentally challenged liberal hack (usually one in the same). First, you started the name calling by calling me a liar with no basis (111. Author: haon123: You suck and you are a liar.). Second, I did not point to a “causal” relationship. As post 126 and then 128 show, I used the word LINK, not causal relationship, you liar. So as you said in post 178, you are not denying that there is a link to the market’s reaction after election day, so I guess that means you agree with my original statement which means you are one messed up mofo.
