Cash for Clunkers was a scaled down version of what smart people (Like Me) started calling for last fall. The mileage requirements were based on faulty info and should not have even been a consideration. They gave GM 65 Billion dollars to sit on their asses and wanted the American public to kiss butt to get a paultry 3 Billion of it's own money back while actually creating demand and profit and therefore jobs .

This Elitist snobbery and lack of true understanding is another example why this Group of Liberals is already on the way out.

#246 are you serious?!!

1)2 Million more acres now not for public use. Talk to a handicaped person, or a logger, or a motorcyclist/atv user.

2)For realz? Please ask your local car dealer how that debocle is treating them. Many dealers in my area have yet to see ANY reimbursement.

3) Now they can pay proffesors and staff more.

4) More future taxes.......If were still using dollars when it's time to pay the piper.

5) Buying all the tech for this from one of the Dems biggest contributors GE. Which also happens to own a t.v. network that does some of the best PR work for him. And there is still no garauntee of safety for these records to not be hacked. And no garauntee as to who will be able to veiw said records.

6) If you still have a job left to pay a mortgage.

7) more legislation to shove to public for a back patting. Higher interest rates for those who pay their bills, to help cover the lack of higher rates that protect them from deadbeats.

Man, it's like one long non-stop campaign with this guy.

He just won't stop stumping.

Someone tell him he won and now he actually has to fill Cabinet positions and get down to running this nation.

This is even funnier...

how many cabinet positions has trump filled?
and about that non-stop campaign and stumping? Isn't that about all trump has done?

and the teleprompters... only way to get him to read a complete sentence.

he did save the country from falling over the economic cliff...and got the jobs numbers turned around with unemployment dropping and the growth numbers moving up...trends that continue...

it took awhile, about four years under Obama, before I recovered the cash in my 503 retirement plan that I dropped during Bush's Great Recession...

this thread really is in the wrong forum, though...

Honestly though, it was thrilling to watch him energize the population during the election. His campaign was extremely effective in that regards. How else could you explain why his complete lack of experience was overlooked while his opponents VP's lack of experience was deemed an insurmountable negative?

I mean, it couldn't possibly be due to the fact that those who voted for Obama while crying about Palins wet ears were actually that stupid? Could it?

Damn, that guy could bow better than a Tibetan monk! That's really what he was good at. Anything else was for the cameras.

Personally loved how that list of "accomplishments" took taxpayer money (which hasn't been repaid!!!) with not one Wall Street executive that created the mess in prison!

We still have boots on the ground in Iraq, Afghanistan...hell, every nation in Africa now and Cuba...we still have Guantanamo open for business!

Called for the head of Osama Bin Laden, says he killed him...but those on the ground that pulled their triggers said it looked nothing like him and refused to let anyone see the corpse or test the DNA of him. Dumped the body off the back of a Navy ship at sea. Yeah...real accomplishment.

Ran guns and weapons all over the globe. Pushed weaponry from Benghazi to Syria and got busted for that! Ran them all over Mexico and Central America (Operation Fast & Furious) only to have the same weapons kill Americans!

Rammed legislation through the House using parliamentary tricks and had to have the Supreme Court rule it was legal because it was a tax! Yeah, we're talking about ObamaCare. Since when is healthcare considered a tax? When the DNC tells you!

Saved the auto industry. Really? Ford didn't take any taxpayer dollars. GM did and so did Chrysler. Chrysler has been sold off to Fiat at a loss. The American Taxpayer took a 16.6 BILLION shot in the ass from Obama giving away taxpayers money! Hell, I seem to remember saying for the government to buy Tesla outright and manufacture cars and trucks for America and felt that would not only secure a cleaner future but eliminate the debt those other car companies had into oblivion. They should've been forced into bankruptcy. I still feel GM is tettering on the brink again because the UAW benefits and pension plans are weighing it all down.

The "landmark" Iranian nuclear arms giveaway...another 1.7 BILLION taxpayer dollars IN CASH! Anyone that believes they're not working with North Korea and China on this is a real simpleton. WTG Obama!

The rest of that list is a contrived joke with no substance. At all. It's laughable.

History will look upon Mr. Hopey Changey and give him the middle finger he deserves. The "Emperor's Clothes" mantra is now looked upon with indignation for not being able to see the swindle in front of you and cheerleading for it even now.

Now, either you're inconsistent or you're a rapid cycling manic depressive with narcissistic capabilities.

What's to complain about?

He beat Clinton.

He's stripped Obamacare.

Wall Street is in record territory.

Taxes are reduced and I saw that in my last paycheck. Yeah!
